The classic franchise will make its official VR debut with the release of GTA San Andreas on Oculus Quest.
As announced at the Games To Connect demo event, the Oculus team is partnering with Rockstar Games to bring Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to Oculus Quest 2.
While there is no release schedule yet, the Oculus team said that this announcement has been "many years in the making" so the game could arrive on a fast track.
“Today on Connect, we announced that the Rockstar Games classic Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is in development for Quest 2. Get a fresh look at Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas like you do (again or for the first time) ) is one of the most iconic open worlds in gaming.
This partnership reinforces Rockstar's commitment to old games by porting their old games to new consoles as well as releasing a new GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.
