Will the skin of Gustavo Fring from the cult series Breaking Bad be in Fortnite? Officially, there is no such information yet. A skin would no doubt be a welcome addition to the game, but for now, we still have some!
While nothing is certain, the search query "Gustavo Fring Fortnite skinhas been trending for quite some time now. Although it is strange that this is happening, there is an explanation for this.

As far as anyone can tell, the search term is trending as a result of a survey that took place at the end of August. Gustavo Fring appeared in it along with several other notable characters and personalities.
While the polls don't determine who or what will collaborate with the game next, they do give a general idea of what is and isn't a trend. Jesse Pinkman was recently spotted in a poll. Another catalyst revived interest in Gustavo Fring.
In addition to surveys, another important factor is the content creators who have identified the trend and promoted it through video. While many have explained that this is just a survey, others have stated unequivocally that this is a collaboration in the works.
Hundreds of users quickly took to Twitter to request the Gustavo Fring Fortnite skin from Epic Games. Although this happened at the end of August, the trend has not subsided. Given the recent popularity Giancarlo Esposito, no wonder players want to see him in the metaverse.
After playing Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Anton Castillo in Far Cry 6 and Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, he cemented his legacy in pop culture. However, it is enough to have any version of it in the game.

Having said that, it's strange that Walter White wasn't mentioned in any of the polls. This is most likely due to the fact that he is the main character in Breaking Bad and he is already confirmed as a skin for any future collaborations.
On that note, if the collaboration does take place, it will probably be next year. With a brand new chapter just over the horizon, characters like Gustavo Fring, Jesse Pinkman and Walter White may not fit into the prevailing theme and setting.
On the other hand, since Epic Games wants the best possible traction to cover and promote a new chapter, they might just be thrown in to hype things up. Let's hope that by the time Chapter 3 Season 4 comes to a close, the leaks will be able to reveal some information related to these skins.
