Half-Life 2 is a continuation of the legendary action game Half-Life, which was born 6 years after the original was released. The protagonist is the permanent scientist Gordon Freeman, who survived the cascade resonance in the Black Mesa laboratory, who was placed in stasis by a mysterious man named G-Man. Gordon wakes up in the near future, where the earth is ruled by an alien government called the Alliance. The current leadership uses the slave labor of people, forces them to pump out resources from the bowels of the earth and suppresses the people's instinct to reproduce. The centers of the uprising are brutally suppressed and the rebels are forced to go underground.
Gordon will have to go through a thorny path to find the remaining Black Mesa resistance stronghold, which are located far outside the city. Freeman's goal changes every time, but as a result, it is with his hands that the rebels want to deliver a decisive blow to the heart of the alien invaders.
The gameplay is a first-person shooter in which players move through changing landscapes that are infested with hostile vehicles and Alliance soldiers. . In addition to standard weapons, Gordon also has a special gravity gun that allows him to manipulate physical objects, throwing everything that comes to hand at opponents. It is not the key to solving numerous puzzles.
