Hammerting - Vertical Dwarf Simulator at Future Games Show
Hammerting is a vertical mining dwarven mining simulator with RPG elements where you will manage a clan of gnomes with colorful personalities as you create and develop an epic mining operation.
The trailer that debuted on future Games Show, gives you an excellent overview of what awaits you in the Mara mountains. The Future Games Show is GamesRadar's premier digital E3 week event debuting exciting new games hosted by Nolan North and Emily Rose of the Uncharted series.
The Hammerting trailer shows dark underground mines punctuated by bright fireplace-lit rooms where gnomes work. There are massive cauldrons heating over molten rock, a glowing green liquid of unknown origin, and gloomy labyrinthine shafts. The world will change as you play and develop your loot.
With war raging on the surface above them, the Dwarves promise to produce critical supplies for their allies to help win the war. Your allies on the surface will ask you to craft many things, from an abundance of silver swords to battling an army of vampires or a diamond-encrusted gold crown for a coronation. You'll start with a handful of dwarves who must quickly set up operations to start creating ASAP, but as you progress your little clan will grow, build conveyor belts and elevators to reduce the burden of manual labor, and eventually become famous throughout all the Upper Realms, for their superior skills and craftsmanship.
Hammerting will debut on Steam later this year but will move into Early Access to help improve the title soon. Check it out and put it on our wishlist here .
