Renske Kunigami (國神錬介, Kunigami Rensuke) is the main supporting character in the Blue Lock manga.

He is a hot forward whose main goal is to become the best striker in the world and, in turn, a football superhero. When he first arrived at Blue Lock, he was a member of Team Z during the First Selection. He was ranked 50th out of the original 300 attackers selected for the Blue Lock project when he was eliminated from Blue Lock during the final games of the Second Selection by Ryusei Shido, but instead of leaving the establishment, he entered the mysterious door "Wild Card" that was open to him.

After the end of the U-20 match, Kunigami finally returned with the "Wild Card" and during the Neo Egoist League he played as a striker for Bastard München.

Personality

Kunigami has a very moral personality. He can take his football career, training and lifestyle very seriously, but he also knows when to relax and enjoy life. He is considered to be calm but passionate when it comes to football, and can sometimes be very rational and cautious, but can also be as stubborn as Raichi, whom he tends to butt heads with. Kunigami won't let troublemakers and people who play dishonest get their way when he's around; he almost looks like an older brother. Despite being serious most of the time, he can be very grateful and somewhat embarrassed when praised by others.

Meeting Ryusei Shidou had an impact on Kunigami's thinking and way of acting. His moral and righteous play style was overtaken by a more aggressive and instinctive way of playing, and he exited Blue Lock, questioning Shido's words as he exited Blue Lock. Since returning to Blue Lock, Kunigami has become noticeably colder and more focused, with a whole new philosophy of playing football, striving to maintain his dominance on the pitch. Appearance

Kunigami is a tall, fair-skinned high school student with bright, spiky orange hair styled short and brown eyes. He appears very muscular and broad in the shoulders.
