Walkthrough "Kulrut" Horizon Forbidden West
It's time to return to Hekarro to start Kulruth. Use the Fast Travel Pack to quickly reach the bonfire next to the quest marker. Once you get to the arena, approach Hecarro and Cotallo to talk to them. For the competition to succeed, we need to fend off any potential attackers on Regalla.
Run around the arena to get to the opposite end and join Decca. Head up the stairs to automatically trigger a cutscene where you are talking to Decca. No wonder Regalla's machines have arrived, so let's blow up the cannon Decca gave us. Without taking too much damage, try to activate your Focus from time to time to scan for any new vehicle types and target their weak spots if possible. However, the threat has not passed.
Thrown into the arena, we are attacked by Slippery Fang. Slitherfang is weak to fire, ice, and plasma damage, so favor any of those three elements to defeat him. Slitherfang moves around the arena a lot, so placing traps can help you get rid of him faster. Don't forget to pick it up once the battle is over.
It's time to look for Hecarro to make sure he's safe after Regalla's ambush. Climb up the collapsed ramp and run towards Hekarro. After a short fight between Hekarro and Regalla, Hekarro will give us access to the location of the ETHER. Go down the stairs to access the camera. Approach and use the console to insert the GAIA core and restore the ETHER.
Once the ETHER has been retrieved, it's time to return to base to add it to GAIA. Before doing so, Decca draws our attention by noticing a change in the Visions. At the exit, approach Decca to talk to her. Now we can return to GAIA with Cotallo in our ranks. There is a campfire near the base that you can use to quickly travel there.
Zo, Varl and Erend are waiting for you at the base. After a bit of catching up, it was time to deliver ETHER to GAIA. Enter the control room with the GAIA and then go to the console to insert the GAIA core and force the ETHER to fuse with it. However, ELEUTHIA, another subordinate function of GAIA, has sent a distress call to GAIA and needs our help. A trap or maybe a chance to add another sub function to GAIA?
