HP Envy 34 All-in-One Equipped with 5K Widescreen Display and RTX 3080 GPU

HP has unveiled its latest all-in-one (AIO) with a larger and wider screen, smaller bezels and the latest components from Intel and NVIDIA. The Envy 34 All-in-One desktop now features a 21:9 widescreen 5K (5120 x 2160) IPS flat panel display that delivers 500 nits of brightness and covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It's also slightly more streamlined, with smaller bezels, and no longer has the big B&O speaker underneath like the latest model.
The new display takes advantage of Windows 11 "Snap Layouts" to make it easier to rearrange your desktop to see multiple windows. It also features a 16MP camera that uses detachable binning technology so you can move it to different locations on the screen depending on the angle you want. Another interesting touch is the wireless chargers built into the stand, so you just have to put your smartphone in there to charge it.
It should pair nicely with an 9th Gen Intel Core-i11 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max Q graphics, the latter HP says is the first in AIO. It also has up to 32GB of RAM, 512GB of NVMe storage, an integrated power supply, a pair of B&O speakers, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 USB4 Type-C ports (data transfer rates up to 40Gbps), and an HDMI output. The HP Envy 34 All-in-One PC will be available in October 2021 starting at $1999. If you don't need such a high-end model, HP also introduced the Pavilion AIO with an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor and a maximum screen size of 27 inches, starting at $799.
HP also released some interesting displays. The first is the HP U32 4K HDR Monitor, a relatively large developer monitor that sells for a fairly low price. It uses an IPS panel and complies with the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard, ensuring it meets VESA's minimum brightness standards. It also features a 10-bit panel (8-bit + AFRC, mind you) with a billion colors, 60Hz refresh rate, Delta E <2 color accuracy, and USB-C power delivery. Looks like a lot of $500 monitors will go on sale in October 2021.
And finally, the HP M34d WQHD Curved Monitor. This one is more for productivity, with a 34-inch 3,440 x 1,440 100Hz 21:9 widescreen display. It comes with built-in speakers and DisplayPort/HDMI inputs, and offers USB-C power delivery – plus, it has internal speakers , which is rare in a standalone monitor. The HP M34d WQHD Curved Monitor is now available from HP.com for $530.
