"The Squid Game" - All Deadly Challenges from the TV series
The Squid Game continues to take over the world. If you have already watched this South Korean series, then you are probably hooked on the tests mentioned there. In fact, these are real-life children's games, but with a creepy ending: the losers are killed. In life, it is quite possible to repeat them without such a gesture! We have collected for you in one material all the games that appeared in the "Squid Game".
"Red Light Green Light"
The rules are simple: a leader is chosen to play for the "traffic light". He stands with his back at a sufficient distance to the rest of the participants. Their main task is to quietly approach the "traffic light" and touch it. The host stands (without turning!) and counts aloud: "One, two, three ... Red light!" While he is counting, the players quickly move forward. When the host yells "Red light!", he turns around and sends back to the very beginning of everyone who noticed even slightly moving. To be unexpected, the leader can change the speed every time.
"Sugar Honeycombs"
The meaning of the game is simple: participants must use a needle to cut out the indicated figure from caramel without breaking it. You can choose a completely different form - many recipes have already appeared on YouTube that are easy enough to repeat at home.
Tug of war
Everyone knows the rules of this game. People are divided into two teams of equal size. Ideally, they should also be approximately the same in strength.
Marbles
Marbles are cute colored balls. With them, you can come up with very different types of games. For the series, the contestants were paired up and given creative freedom in what to do next. However, there was an important condition: the winner is the one who takes all the partner's balls in 30 minutes. We found the following options:
- Tic-tac-toe variation: a grid of 9 or more cells is drawn on the playground. Each player has balls of a certain color. Participants take turns “shooting” at the net, trying to fill a full line vertically, horizontally or diagonally with their marbles. And yes, here it is possible to knock the opponent's ball out of his cell and take him "captured".
- It is necessary to draw a circle of a convenient diameter (standard - 3 meters), and lay out a cross of 13 marbles inside. Players one after another shoot at the balls from a larger marble (it is called tou). The ball that flew out of the circle is received by the shooting player. The first person to collect 7 balls wins.
"Glass Bridge"
The "Glass Bridge" in the series is not based on anything in particular. But it's probably one of the most visually frightening challenges. First, the players are told their move order, after which they must jump from one glass panel to another in accordance with it - some are made of tempered glass and can accommodate two people. Others - from the usual: jumping on them, a person will die.
The game can be safely repeated, but instead of glass panels, sheets of paper are used, on the back of which is written the "fate" of the player who jumped on them.
"Playing squid"
The game is played on a specially drawn field. People are divided into two teams: attackers and defenders. To win, the former must get inside the squid, run past the defenders, and step on the squid's head. Defenders, on the other hand, need to push the attackers out of the squid to win. Until the attackers get to the "waist" of the squid, they can only move on one leg.
