This chapter of the game guide year of production 1800 dedicated to the interface. The following picture clearly illustrates how the most important gameplay parameters work.

1 - Interface in Anno 1800 - Basics - Anno 1800 Game Guide
  1. In the upper left corner you can see the following options: Empire level (you improve it by increasing the number of inhabitants), finances, your income/expenses and the total number of inhabitants.

  2. At the top of the picture, you can see, among other things: the level of attractiveness of the city (it can affect, for example, whether other ships are willing to visit your island), supplies, and the number of different social groups.

  3. In the upper right corner you can see: the selected language, the main game options, the trade routes of your empire and the world map.

  4. Click on a building or one of your residents and on the right side of the screen you will find specific information about the selected object. Some buildings can be upgraded - you should keep this in mind when working with warehouses and docks.

  5. Use your minimap to find information about crops and resources available on your island. This is important information - always take it into account, for example, when you are planning to create a small settlement near your main island.
  6. Here is your minimap - you can choose your ship and explore the waters surrounding your island.

  7. At the bottom of the screen, you can select buildings, roads, and houses, among others. As you advance in the game and gain new social groups, you will unlock new buildings for your empire.

  8. On the left side of the screen, you will find important notifications and warnings regarding your current gameplay.
