Trial of Percival Rackham is the 23rd main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This walkthrough will guide you through all the missions of the Trial of Percival Rackham Main Mission.

Job Information: Professor Feig and I had to run from the goblins we found in the tower. They clearly suspect that the tower has some significance. My ability to see traces of ancient magic allowed me to locate the entrance to the first test. I completed the test and fought off the ancient guardians guarding the brooding memory. I returned to the cartography room and discovered that another portrait of the Guardian had been discovered. This one belongs to Professor Charles Rookwood. Professor Fig wants to know what Ranrock knows.

Starting Location: Trial of Percival Rackham
We met again with Professor Feig and spoke again with Percival Rackham in the Cartography Room to learn about the existence of three trials leading to the mastery of ancient magic.
Travel to the flying flames of Galkrad's Tomb in the Forbidden Forest, east of Hogsmeade. Jump on the broom and fly to your destination. If necessary, wait or speak directly with Professor Fig.
Follow Professor Fig towards the ruins and just before going up the first flight of stairs, use the Deillumination Spell to become invisible. This mission also unlocks the Petrificus Totalus (petrification spell). To use it, sneak up on an enemy undetected and then press 
The note: Petrificus Totalus is basically an insta-kill spell that we can use by sneaking up on unaware enemies and pressing the button
We want to inspect the tent in the east corner of this area. On the counter here you will find a letter that we can check that has orders from Ranrock.
Exit the tent and move towards the tower so that a new group of enemies will appear. This time around, in addition to the Loyalist Guardian and Loyalist Warriors, there will also be a Loyalist Assassin - this enemy type has a yellow shield, so you'll want to use one of your control spells like Levioso to remove it.
Destroy all goblins and don't forget to use spells of the appropriate color to dispel enemy shields.
Make your way to the base of the tower nearby. Note that you can dive into the small tent closest to the tower to find treasure chest. Head to Professor Fig's location and follow him to the tower door. He will open it for us. Continue inside.
As you enter, you can look at the statue in front and the table in the back, left corner. Behind the statue is also treasure chest. To continue, climb the stairs to the very top until you reach a dead end area with a locked door. There will be a portrait of Percival Rackham. Go ahead and talk about it.
Looks like we have to go on alone. To do this, go down to the first floor of the tower. When you arrive, you should see these pieces of magic appear. Follow them to the pool of ancient magic on the floor in the western part of the room, which will appear as you get closer. Activate this to open a portal on the adjacent wall.
Go through the portal and follow the short corridor to the storage area. Enter the door at the far end of this room to reach the challenges.
Climb down the stairs and along the corridor until you reach a gap that you cannot cross. Find the nearest ladder here, leading down under the original platform. There will be a pool of ancient magic here. Interact with it. Capture treasure chest here and then go back up the stairs.
Now there will be a portal on the edge of the abyss. Come here for a walk. Check shortcuts left and right for treasure chest with both sides. Make your way west to continue. This will take you to a room with an inactive portal in the center.
When you arrive here, more magical temples will appear. Follow them to the back of the room to find a pool of ancient magic behind a portal. Note that there is also treasure chest at the top of a short set of stairs. Step into the pool of magic and interact with it to activate the portal.
Make your way through the portal and follow the short corridor until it flows into a much larger room. Approach the circular wall decoration on the far side of the square and a short scene will play, after which you will need to fight off the Guardians.
Go through the doors that open at the south end of the room.
Use Accio to drag the floating platform to your location. Jump aboard and then Accio on the rocky structure ahead and then onto the platform on the right. On this higher platform, you will find a pool of ancient magic. Activate this and then travel to the portal it opens to find treasure chest.
Return to the room with the floating platform and you will see that a few things have changed. You'll see a second raised platform on the east side of the room, which now has a ring on it. Axio is here to find another one treasure chest. We can find one more treasure chest on top of the central pillar (which used to be a rocky structure).
To continue, we need to use the floating platform to get to the ledge behind the blue portal. Jump out when you arrive and continue down the stairs. Defeat the two Pensiev Defenders that come to life here.
We will now be in the second floating platform puzzle room. From the starting point, you will see an inactive portal ahead and an elevated walkway behind it with stairs on either side of the area. Climb up to that path closest to where the floating platform is and use Accio to paint it. Jump onto the floating platform to find a pool of ancient magic. Activate it to enable the portal.
Once the portal is active, you will find that the room changes a bit around you... but not enough to do what we need to do. Thus, exit down and walk through the portal.
Once in the "blue" zone, you will see that the raised track has disappeared. Accio platform in line with the hole in the wall where the walkway was attached. Climb up the stairs here and jump onto the platform. From here you can see the ring in the southeast corner of the room. Learn yourself here for treasure chest.
Drop down and head through the red portal to enter the "red" area. The elevated track will return. Climb up here and use Accio to drag the platform to your location. Step onto the platform and then Axio back onto the platform at the south end of the room to complete the puzzle room.
Go down the stairs here. Look to the right when you reach the bottom for treasure chest, and then continue to the left. Defeat the three Pension Defenders that populate the area first, and then the group of Pension Sentinels and Sentinels that spawns.
Once they are cleared, head to the south end of the room to find a large pit. Right at the edge of this pit, you should find a pool of ancient magic. Go ahead and use this to activate the portal.
Use Accio to pull the floating platform over here to the edge and jump on board. On the platform with the portal there is a ring facing us. Use it for Accio in that direction. Once here, look past the portal to spy on another ring below. Axio is here and jump onto the platform behind the portal to treasure chest. Jump over the edge here to respawn at the beginning of the area (you can go through the portal and work your way back, but the jump is significantly faster).
Once you return to the floating platform, you should note that there are a couple of hooks on stone pillars on either side of the room in front of the portal. Grab the one on the left with the Accio and release as you move towards it so that the platform stops in front of the portal.
If you look through the portal, you should see another platform on the far side. Use Accio to capture this and both platforms should converge on the portal. Jump through the portal and onto another floating platform. After passing through it, you will see how the hook under the platform at the south end of the room goes and Accio himself goes there and exits the puzzle area.
Head ahead and grab a couple potions of the Wiggenveld at the bottom of the stairs here. Climb the stairs and enter the door at the top. Grab the treasure chest here before going through the next door.
Follow the magical bridge to a large circular platform ahead.
When you arrive, a couple of Pensive Defenders will come to the area along with numerous Pensive Guards and Pensive Sentinels who will drop in shortly after. After you deal with all that armor, the area's big boy, the Pensieve Guardian, will appear.
Boss: Pensive Guardian
The Pensieve Guardian is a large, heavily armored suit of armor. He has two health bars - so he can deal serious damage, but is also capable of doing it. We'll want to use damage attacks (Incendio, Expelliarmus) to knock over his health bar as quickly as possible. However, we'll want to have some other spells at the ready to counter the Guardian's abilities.
The Guardian has a couple of noteworthy attacks - first he will lift his foot and stomp, releasing a wave of energy along the floor in a straight line in front of him - you'll want to dive to the side to avoid this. It can also use a couple of projectiles - a yellow projectile that, when charged, will be thrown at you at high speed and can be very hard to avoid. Luckily, if you aim and hit the yellow projectile with a control attack (Levioso, Glacius) as it charges, it will explode. The boss can also use a small purple projectile that often appears towards the end of the fight after a stomp attack. Be sure to use Protego when prompted to avoid damage from it.
Keep plugging the boss with damage spells and base cast and use others as needed to counter/null projectiles. When you craft your Ancient Magic Bar, be sure to use it as it will deal a significant blow to the boss's health bar.
Once the Pensieve Guardian falls, a new bridge and door will appear for you.
Once the fight is over, move on to the next waypoint. Open the chest at the Pensieve and then interact with it to trigger a cutscene.
Interact with the crystallized archway on the side of the room to return to the mapping room.
Go to the waypoint to talk to the Guardians.
Now interact with the portrait of Charles Rookwood and talk to him.
