Fortnite Map Changes v14.50: New Galactus Location, Winter Village Leak
Epic Games has released another update v14.50 for Fortnite and it is filled with new content after the Fortnite Nightmares event. So, let's take a look at all the changes to the map of the island since the patch was installed.
The community of the game should be getting used to regular updates by now, after all, this is one of the main reasons why the game has become popular from the very beginning. Few battle royales change as often as Fortnite over time.
Map changes are a huge part of it. New POIs and features dotted around the Fortnite island appear frequently in updates, and this time it's the same.
So let's take a look at everything that has changed.
Fortnite 14.50 map changes
Full map
At first glance, you can see that most of the Halloween themed areas have been removed from the game, so it would be a shock to see that nothing will replace them.
Galactus has moved
One of the more interesting changes was the move of Galactus. It moved and hovered right over the Ruins landmark.
In Nightmares, Midas has taken over the place very tightly, and it looks like another dark force will soon do the same. Since it is in the middle of the map, it would be appropriate for a Marvel villain to start building a base there.
We've seen Galactus high in the sky very often, but it looks like we'll be seeing him land soon.
Fortnite Map Future Changes: Winter Village Information Leaked
The same insider also discovered evidence of a "winter village" mentioned in the game's files, suggesting we may see a new point of interest appear in the game just in time for the holidays.
In regards to the confirmed Fortnite map changes for this patch, we will continue to update this page with more information as it becomes available.
