How to Get Borderlands: The Beautiful Collection for Free on PC

Borderlands

Borderlands: The Beautiful Collection is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time, and we've got everything you need to know about how to get it on PC.

Borderlands

Borderlands is one of the most popular franchises in video game history, and now you can get two of the critically acclaimed titles for free. On May 28, Epic Games announced that The Beautiful Collection will be made available for free to anyone who wants to download it on PC.

The collection includes Borderlands: Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2, as well as all accompanying bonus content that adds hundreds of extra hours of gameplay.

Collectively, The Beautiful Collection costs $59,99, but you can download it for free right now by visiting Epic Games Store and clicking the yellow “Get” button next to the game description.

This sale won't last, however; like most previous games, Epic is only making this deal available for one week, which means it will expire on  Thursday, June 4th

Released in 2014, Borderlands: Pre-Sequel tells a story that takes place between the events of the first two games, Borderlands and Borderlands 2. In this game, players learn how Handsome Jack came to power while playing as four. Athena the Gladiator, Wilhelm the Enforcer, Nisha Lavringer and Clapptrap's robot, the Frog.

Borderlands 2, which debuted in 2012 with much-anticipated success, tells the story after the first game in the series. Five DLC campaigns have been released to complement the game's story, as well as two additional characters, all of which are part of The Beautiful Collection.

The Beautiful Collection is the latest in a series of games that Epic released for free as a surprise. They have been releasing free games for a long time, ever since their PC Launcher debuted in December 2018, but they will always announce games ahead of time.

However, starting with Grand Theft Auto V a few weeks ago and Civilization V, they kept the deals under wraps and waited until the day they announced which games would be free.
