Old World Money is the main currency in Dying Light 2. Here's how you can quickly accumulate the amount.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human offers a massive open world playground that is free to explore. However, walking (or parkour) through this post-apocalyptic world is no easy feat. There are infected and enemy factions waiting to destroy you. Research at night Dying Light 2: Stay Human even harder, as the rogues alert the nearby infected and they start a chase that then turns into a fight or flight from the nail-gnawing horde of undead.

To fight these terrible enemies, you need high quality weapons, weapon mods and gear. While you can get them by exploring the open world by completing the main missions and side missions, the easiest way to get them is by buying them from artisan vendors and merchants. However, for this you need a lot of Old World money (the main currency of the game). Here is our guide to fast farming old world money in Dying Light 2.

Collecting Old World Money in Dying Light 2

Explore the Dark Hollows in search of valuable resources that bring in large sums from suppliers.

Once you unlock the Bazaar in Dying Light 2, you will be free to explore the open world. Take this opportunity to see the sights and discover the Dark Hollow.

These are sources of loot scattered throughout the map. Here you will find rare and unique valuables that you can sell to vendors for a lot of Old World money. The catch here is that you'll have to explore the Dark Hollows at night, as they're swarming with infected in the morning.

During the night, make sure you have plenty of UV Shrooms and Immunity Boosts in your inventory, as Dark Hollows are chemically contaminated areas where your immunity will drop twice as fast as normal.

While you can enter the Dark Hollows from the ground, it's recommended that you take the rooftop, as the entry point to the former is inhabited by rogues and other infected.

Locked compartments in the Dark Hollows contain rare valuables.

Once inside, loot any chest, locker, and compartment you come across. Some rare and unique valuables are locked in these compartments, so make sure you carry a few lockpicks with you, which should only take a few seconds to make.

Things like antibiotics, canned food, wristwatches, jewelry, crystal figurines bring in a decent amount, so make sure you don't leave anything behind. The city of Wildors has a lot of Dark Hollows, which means you can farm a significant amount of Old World money by researching them.

Back at the vendor, you can either sell them individually from the merchandise section, or sell all valuables together by pressing the triangle on PlayStation (Y on Xbox). Each Dark Hollow you explore should give you enough Old World money to buy one or more rare or unique weapons of your choice, along with weapon mods.
