How to distract alien invaders from kidnapping players? Of course, tricks in the form of cows! This is exactly what you need to place in order to complete this weekly legendary quest in Fortnite Season 17.
When aliens took over the island in Season 17 of Fortnite, it was only a matter of time before cows became the center of their attention. After the debut of chaotic subject "Korovinator" players now need to place cow decoys for this week six challenge.
Why cows? Well, Sloane has found out that alien invaders are strongly attracted to them, and they cannot distinguish real animals from fake ones. As a result, this should be the perfect way to distract them – or trap them.
Completing these weekly Legendary Challenges is the fastest way to earn experience, rack up Battle Stars, and unlock all the skins and cosmetic items the Game has to offer. battle pass , - and this particular quest will net you a whopping 30 XP.
Where to place cow decoys in Fortnite
You can visit either corn complex, or Farmer's plot (formerly Steel Farm) to place decoys in the form of cows.
There are seven of them in each location, and you only need to place three to complete this weekly Fortnite challenge. Fake cows look like blue holograms until you interact with them, so sometimes they are easy to miss.
Both locations are right next to each other on the map, so it shouldn't be too difficult. But so you don't run around the bush, we've put together two maps of these points of interest that will help you earn experience quickly.
Where to place decoys in the form of cows in the Corn Complex
Here's where you can place cow decoys in the Corn Farm:
- In front of the main house in the north of the complex.
- Next to two large silos to the northeast of the complex.
- In front of the large barn to the northwest.
- Next to the truck on the north side of the western crop.
- Behind the barn on the south side is the western crop.
- West of a medium-sized green barn southeast of the location.
- Next to a small yellow barn south of the Corn Complex.
If you decide to visit the Corn Complex to complete this quest, be sure to keep an eye out for the IO guards that patrol the area, as they may catch you off guard while you're looking for cow decoys.
Places for placing tricks on the Farmer's plot
Here's where you can place cow decoys on the Farmer's Lot:
- The east side of the cornfield is northeast of the location.
- Right behind the house.
- Down by the river, west of the farmhouse.
- In front of the main farmhouse.
- Near several trees to the west of the attraction.
- Next to a bush east of the Farmer's Lot.
- Near the turn of the main road southeast of the location.
We recommend completing this quest in this location, the Farmer's Lot, for two reasons: cow decoys are closer together here, and you won't have to deal with the complex hostile NPCs that spawn at the Corn Complex.
