How to play Eve Echoes? Trading ISK, Star Map, Drones, etc.

guide-eve

Learning how to play Eve Echoes is quite difficult. Sure, it has a comprehensive tutorial system, but even so, Eve is a tough game. So, here are some tips to help you play Eve Echoes.

guide-eve
  • ➤ Tutorial:  the tutorial system exists for a reason, and it's a great introduction to Eve Echoes. The first thing you should do is work methodically through at least the beginner's tutorials and then choose the career path you want to follow.
  • ➤ Sidebar:  the eye symbol on the right side opens into a panel that allows you to find and travel to any location you need
  • ➤ Market:  here you sell and buy equipment for ISK. You can place sell orders at a small price. Before buying equipment, make sure you can use it by clicking on its name for statistics. Also be aware that you may have to fly to pick it up at another station.
  • ➤ Power Capacitor: every ship has a power capacitor and everything you equip consumes power. When purchasing equipment, make sure you have the appropriate power capacitor - this means there are no rocket launchers at the start of the game! The slightly more empty power capacitor also gives you a bit more breathing room so you don't run out of power in combat.
  • ➤ Pirates: at the very beginning, going to the anomalies is a good way to quickly and instantly earn ISK and will help you buy a new ship faster. Head to the small anomalies first, then to the recon, then to the medium ones, then to the bases. Also, don't worry if you don't receive your ISK rewards right away, as they will appear in your account when you return to a safe location.
  • ➤ Skills:  time is XP, as they say, so be sure to click on the skills section and always go through skill training in the background. You can increase your learning rate and level up by purchasing a basic Omega clone.
  • ➤ Meetings: if you want to do more story missions, the encounter section gives you a list of available options.
  • ➤ Loot: always remember to loot the ships you destroy, as this is a good way to get free gear. Click to open the right sidebar and open the loot tab to see what has been dropped since the battle.

EVE ECHOES TRADING: HOW TO BUY AND SELL IN EVE ECHOES

Trading Eve Echoes takes place in the marketplace - a place where you can find equipment and resources by unloading your own. Here's how to buy and sell in Eve Echoes:

SALE

  • ➤ First you need to go to the mall. Open the market tab and there will be a list of nearby trading stations that you can head to.
  • ➤ Once at the trading station, open your inventory, click on the item and select "sell". A screen will appear with the average price of the item, and you can change it accordingly.
  • ➤ You can have up to five sales orders at once, so choose wisely! You can view your orders by selecting the tab on the market screen. You can also recycle spare items into resources if you don't want them to take up an order slot.

PURCHASE

  • ➤ Buying an item in Eve Echoes is a much easier process. Go to the market page and simply select the ships, blueprints, or specific slot you want to buy.
  • ➤ High slots are weapons like lasers, rocket launchers, or harvesting tools like a mine laser.
  • ➤ Middle slots are electronic warfare or drones for ships with a drone bay, such as some frigates and industrial ships.
  • ➤ Low slots are for upgrades like afterburners, armor repairers, warp dampeners, and shield boosters.

EVE ECHOES DRONES: HOW TO USE DRONES IN EVE ECHOES

We love the Eve Echoes drones, they are like pets you can keep on your ship, except they each carry a deadly arsenal of weapons. Here's how you use them:

  • ➤ First, you need a ship with a drone hangar - frigates like the Tristan or industrial ships like the Venture Trainer are great early game options.
  • ➤ Secondly, buy drones. A drone will cost you 10-15 ISL. Tristan can equip and use two, and the Venture Trainer can fit four but only use one at a time. You can view your drone hangar in the middle slots of your ship.
  • ➤ Third, have fun! Each drone has a special damage output, and best of all, they don't consume your ship's capacitor power, so basically it's a free weapon - great, huh? Just tap the icon while in space to deploy the drones, but be aware that their combat range is 20 km, so using the rocket launcher can negate their usefulness.

EVE ECHOES STAR MAP: HOW TO TRAVEL IN EVE ECHOES

The Eve Echoes Star Map is extensive and a little overwhelming, but here are some tips for using it:

  • ➤ Click on your character icon and select the star map icon.
  • ➤ This unlocks the New Eden map. Touch regions to select them, then touch the region map to view them
  • ➤ You can also change the overlay by clicking on the circle at the bottom left, changing the view to reflect the region's security levels, number of stations, and interstellar malls.
  • ➤ If you want to travel to a specific solar system in a region, tap it, set it as your destination, then relax while your autopilot plots a course
  • ➤ You can also avoid certain systems in the same menu, which will cause your autopilot to redirect you when your travel path matches that particular system.

EVE ECHOES SESSIONS: HOW TO COMPLETE MISSIONS

It's not clear at first how to complete missions, but that's where Eve Echoes comes into play. If you click on your character icon and select the encounters tab, you will find a selection of missions to complete. Simply select the option you want in the News section and click Accept following the instructions until you're done. Completing these quests also unlocks missions in the "History" section of encounters, which can be selected for different factions.

EVE ECHOES PLEX: HOW TO BUY PLEX IN EVE

Plex is a useful resource for buying fun things, but most importantly: ship skins. If you want to buy Plex, you need to go to the market or shop and choose a pilot service. You'll find it there and can purchase it with AUR or ISK - unless, of course, someone is selling!

EVE ECHOES DELETE A CHARACTER: HOW TO START ALL OVER

Sometimes it's very tempting to delete your character and start over, but unfortunately there is currently no way to delete a character in Eve Echoes. With that in mind, it's worth saving up on your three slots and only using them for characters you actually want to play - at least until Eve Echoes gets the ability to delete characters as a feature.
