How to find Cleffa in Pokémon Sword & Shield
If you're looking for Cleff in Pokémon Sword & Shield, then you're on the right track - we've got everything you need to know right here.
Since the release of Pokémon Sword & Shield on the Nintendo Switch on November 15th, players have been going crazy trying to find all the baby forms.
Star Pokémon, in particular, has fans who are scratching their heads looking for it, and this is Cleffa, a tiny version of the fairytale monster Clafairie.
Don't worry as we have all the details on how to get an adorable critter for yourself and it's surprisingly easy.
How to get Cleffa in Sword & Shield
The first thing you need to do to master Cleffa is to stuff yourself with either Clafairy or Clefable - it doesn't matter which.
Clefairy can be found in the Motostoke Riverbank or giant patches of wilderness caps during heavy fog weather, and can be seen right in the grass in the overworld.
Its evolution is obtained by developing it with a moonstone, or can be found as a high-level spawn roaming around the banks of the Motostock River, or occasionally as a random raid.
Once you get yourself one of the pink monsters, you will either need another exactly the same type, or the same one - the latter of which can be found in the Lake of Disturbance with a 10% spawning chance.
Then head to the nursery on Route 5 or the Bridge Field section of the wilderness, give your Pokémon to the maintainer, and then wait for the egg to spawn.
You will know that the egg has formed as soon as the worker enters a contemplative pose with his hand on his face. Just make sure you don't accidentally choose "no" when she asks you to take it or you'll have to wait for another one.
Make sure the egg is in one of your slots and then just walk around for a few minutes. You'll know when it's about to hatch as a message appears on the screen.
If you followed the above steps correctly, you will now be the proud owner of your new Cleffa baby - congratulations!
