How to Find Enemy Players and Clombs in Fortnite Season 19
Fortnite players have taken a liking to scanners, which have replaced the flare gun as their new favorite way to spot enemies and clombs.
Epic Games are adding new elements to their battle royale, and update v19.10 was no exception. The addition of the monstrous Klomb wasn't the only highlight, as the developers reintroduced Abandoned Towers to the island.
Amid the chaos that the fan-favorite location has reintroduced, people are starting to appreciate Fortnite's Oilfields, which can reveal players in a huge area.
While there aren't many in the game, these drills have tools that players can use to scan the area around them, becoming invaluable options in their arsenal.
Fortnite Scanners
Fortnite players are familiar with a variety of weapons that can give decent scans, but scanners have a way of carefully exploring nearby terrain.
To find a drilling site just go to locations like the Sawmill and find a computer to start scanning.
Another drilling site appeared after the v19.10 patch, located northeast of Sleepy Village, complete with a machine to scan the area. Once activated, Fortnite players will be greeted with a screen littered with icons for nearby chests, items, players, and Klombs.
A total of five oilfields will come to Fortnite Island as Epic advances the chapter's story, according to Fortnite insiders. Aside from any narrative connections, these drill site scans are something fans would like to see more of in the future.
