The incarnation of the tree Erd (Erdtree Avatar) is the boss in Elden Ring, which is a headless creature that looks like a tree stump with a large mace in its hands and is found in several places guarding the Lesser Trees of Erd.
Each incarnation drops a different set of flask-related materials. This is an optional boss, well I'm sure you'll want to take him down!

There are several Avatar of the Tree of Erd bosses that can be found in the Between-earths:
- Weeping Peninsula: Found under the Small Erd Tree in the center of the peninsula. The boss sits in a field a little north of the tree, surrounded by large stone pots.
- Lake Liurnia: Found along the main road to the Little Erd Tree in the southwest of the lakes.

HORSE STRATEGY
Use your horse to quickly ride up to him and land the first quick blows. Dodging his attacks by rolling left or right is not as effective as rolling back, because when the boss swings the ax from side to side, this attack has a large range and often reaches the target. Try not to get under the boss when he bounces - you risk getting trampled.
