How to beat Harley Quinn in Gotham Knights?
In Gotham Knights at the Gotham Hospital, you will meet Harley Quinn. She is one of the main antagonists of the game and is a major problem for the Bat-family. The "Queen of Gotham City" has several attacks, many of which feature her huge, red and black hammer.
After a bit of banter between her and the heroes who show up to stop her, Harley Quinn plugs in the plug, filling the room with light and sparks. By picking up this huge hammer, she becomes one of the main boss fights in Gotham Knights.
Here's what players need to know about this fight going into it.
Gotham Knights: How to beat Harley Quinn
Step 1
Like the main characters in Gotham Knights, Harley Quinn is quite acrobatic despite wielding a large sledgehammer. She can roll forward with him and most likely start by jabbing with her weapon. She also has access to a 360 seesaw where she spins like a hammer, pummeling anyone in her decent range.
Most of the footage shows her being electrocuted during this part of the fight to slow her down, at least temporarily. During this phase, she will also lean back and throw a set of bombs. Flipping forward is a great way to get out of the way of those explosives. If you hit the bombs, they will stun you, allowing her to follow you.
Also, keep an eye out for a combo where this Gotham Knights antagonist will swing with a wild uppercut followed by a front flip, smashing the hammer on the ground. This will create an AOE attack so stay out of range.
It doesn't look like her attacks can be interrupted, so it's best for players to hit quickly and then turn away when they see red circles that telegraph her attacks. Harley is also sometimes bullied and when hit she leans back.
Step 2
At about 75% health, Harley Quinn is knocked into a wall, exclaiming that the hero is not holding back. Just then, a hospital gurney shatters the glass windows above them, and the patients spill out onto the floor.
After smashing her hammer on one of the patients, she escapes through the double doors, telling the men to keep the protagonist here. Players will then have to fight off a wave of thugs before they can continue. They don't seem like anyone special, so just defeat them.
After beating them up, Harley knocks the patient through the window and jumps down. Her hammer is now covered in electricity. More thugs jump down with her and it's recommended to take most of them down before fighting Harley. Leaving one or two behind won't be so bad.
Her attack pattern is basically the same, but now her damage is increased and the ground hit AOE also causes electricity. However, if she catches the protagonist with her hammer blow, she will also sweep their legs out from under them and follow up with an overhead strike.
Step 3
At slightly less than 50%, another cut-scene is triggered, where two characters briefly exchange blows. Harley is hit by a hammer and her trigger is stolen. The protagonist turned off the TV, freeing the thugs for what appeared to be mind control.
After the Queen of Gotham City raises the hammer back, the fight continues. She can now break away from her hammer and hit the protagonist, and has a forward lunge that swings in an arc in front of her. She can also throw what appear to be electric daggers in a V-shape in front of her. Her 360-degree turn also looks like she'll be following another turn.
Her attacks in this phase also appear to be much faster, so be aware of incoming hits. She also has less downtime between hits in Phase 3 of her Gotham Knights boss fight.
Bringing it to 0% HP ends the fight and ends with Harley Quinn being handcuffed and taken away. That's all it takes to defeat Harley Quinn in Warner Bros. Gotham Knights. games.
