Stuttering and FPS drops are some of the most frustrating issues in any game, especially one as violent as Elden Ring. The game is amazing, no doubt, but some of these performance issues can make the game unplayable and many may request a refund because of it. Before doing so, try the following troubleshooting tips:
- Close the game.
- Open Device Manager > Software Devices.
- Search for Microsoft Device Association Root.
- Right click it and disable the device.

Update your graphics drivers

Update the game to the latest patch

Close the game and search for graphics options in the Windows search bar on PC.
