How to Get Free V-Bucks in Fortnite Boot Camp

The Fortnite Community Boot Camp will give players a chance to compete for free V-Bucks, and here's everything you need to know before heading into the battle royale.
At the end of Season 3, Epic Games is setting a new challenge for its community. But this time, they will give away a stack of V-Bucks for players to earn for free by completing certain in-game challenges.
Some challenges are as easy as playing Fortnite for an hour or eliminating three people in any game mode, but the twist comes in a leaderboard format that naturally gives higher rewards for those at the top.
But in order to start climbing the community combat boot camp, you need to go through the registration process first, and here's how to do it.
How to register for the Fortnite Community Combat Boot Camp
Signing up for Bootcamp is quick and begins on the Epic Community Battle's own page, where players need to complete four steps:
- Sign up with your Epic account by going to here
- Now that Epic can track your progress, complete missions as they come
- Compete to get to the final challenge
- Finish first to win the grand prize
Fortnite Community Battle Battle Boot Camp Dates
The competition will run from 1:00 AM PST / 4:00 AM EST / 9:00 AM BST / 10:00 AM CEST on August 19, 2020 to 11:00 AM PST / 14:00 PM EST / 19:00 PM BST / 20:00 PM CEST on August 23, 2020 .
While the fine print on the event states that only players 13 and older from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland can participate, many users from Canada, the United States, and other regions outside these parameters have reported that they can still register.
This may mean that all players can participate in the fun, but when it comes to claiming prizes, it may be limited to certain regions.
Fortnite Community Battle Bootcamp Prizes (V-Bucks)
Although there are few details about the leaderboard yet, the developers have laid out how the distribution of prizes will divide the winnings among the participants.
Players finishing in the modest 10-001 places will receive around 20 V-bucks, while first place will receive 000 V-bucks.
- 1st - 2,500 V-bucks
- 2nd Place - 2250 V-Bucks
- 3nd Place - 2000 V-Bucks
- 4th place - 1750 V-bucks
- 5th place - 1500 V-bucks
- 6nd Place - 1250 V-Bucks
- 7th-25th place - 1000 V-bucks
- 26-100s - 800 V-bucks
- 101-500s - 500 V-bucks
- 500-5000s - 300 V-bucks
- 5,001-10s - 000 V-bucks
- 10,001-20,000s - 200 V-bucks
What's more, those who reach the final challenge by completing all the daily challenges will receive a Kab Lama graffiti for their collection.
Fortnite Island will have a lot of action for people trying to climb the leaderboard before the Community Battle Bootcamp ends.
