How to Get and Equip Twitch Skins in New World
New World has taken Twitch by storm as players scramble to get their hands on cosmetics and item drops, though there are some complications when equipping them in-game. So here's what you need to know.
After several delays, New World is finally out and available to players from all over the world, giving them the chance to immerse themselves in a whole new MMO experience. Well, that is if you manage to squeeze through the long queues on the servers.
The game has naturally skyrocketed to the top of the Twitch charts as players who haven't had the long wait yet want to take a look at the new game. In addition, there are cosmetic rewards that can be obtained right now.
By following Twitch streams for a certain amount of time, you will eventually get things like Verdant Trapper and Golden Rage Armor. However, putting these things on a character in the game is quite a challenge for inexperienced players.
Unlike other MMOs, outfitting with new skins and cosmetics isn't advertised too clearly in New World. However, this is not impossible.
Once you have the drops in your inventory, you just need to right click on the item you want to change and click the "change skin" option at the bottom.
You will then see different skins that you can equip, so choose the one you want to rock, equip it and you will be looking stylish in no time. You need to overcome several obstacles, but eventually you will get there.
How to use New World Twitch skins
- Inventory tab
- Right click on the equipped armor you want to drop
- Select "Change Skin"
- Choose your equipment
- Equip her and you're done!
If you get bored with the skin you choose or just unlock a new one you want to show off, just repeat the process above to make a difference.
Given that players are getting a little annoyed at the lack of a more obvious way to change skins, New World developers may have to make their own changes. Although, we'll just have to wait and see.
