How to get a bow in Dying Light 2
The bow is an effective ranged weapon in Dying Light 2. Here's how you can get it.
Although the absence of firearms in Dying Light 2, except for finger arrow, might seem like a missed opportunity for players who preferred the ranged combat of the original, there's still a lot of room to shoot arrows at the infected and the undesirable.
For these purposes, we have a crossbow and a bow. How to get a crossbow we discussed in another guide. In the same guide, we will talk about how to get a bow.
How to get a bow in Dying Light 2
The advantage of the bow over melee weapons is obvious - it allows you to fight at a safe distance. In addition, you do not need to repair it, because it will never break. The main thing is to craft arrows in a timely manner.
You will receive the first such weapon in the course of completing the "Flaring" mission. Immediately after its completion, you will find a bow and drawings for various types of arrows in your inventory. From now on, you can craft them yourself or find them in the game's open world.
You will receive a more advanced bow called the Paperclip as you progress through the Horseshoe (aka Horseshoe) quest. Enter the room where you need to find a pair of shoes and look on the shelf opposite the bed. It will have a bow on it.
In addition, bows can be found in the open world of the game or bought from merchants. One of the best long-range guns in the game is located at the Newfoundland military radio station, which is outside the city. Getting here is easy, but finding a bow is more difficult. To do this, you need to climb the third radio tower, from which you can move to the main antenna. Here lies the unique bow "Nails".
While Techland may add more bows to the game in future DLCs or expansions, the ways to get them right now are listed above.
