Wielding a lightsaber in Resident Evil Village is a surprise, but a welcome one. Resident Evil Village has already seen some crazy mods from the community like Barney the Dinosaur chasing you around Dimitrescu Castle .
With the insane popularity of Star Wars, even reached Fortnite , you would expect the lightsaber mod to be one of the first items added. However, the developers did the hard work for them and allowed you to use a lightsaber in the main game.

Thanks to youtuber AshesWolf we have everything you need to know about equipping this elegant weapon for a more traditional era.
Here's how to get it:
- Complete Resident Evil Village
- Purchase Mercenaries Mode from the DLC Store.
- Complete all Mercenary levels with at least SS rank.
- Purchase the LZ Answerer special weapon from the Extras Store.
- Find the Duke in the game
- Go to arms and buy LZ Answers for 200 lei.
- Equip your lightsaber and fight your way through the village monsters.
It is described in the game as "a new generation weapon in development by the BSAA with a charged particle blade that can cut through anything!"
Turning on the sword reveals her red blade commonly used by the Sith, and if you hold down the aim button you can channel Darth Maul with his dual wield abilities.
