The CARV.2, or G11, is coming to Warzone and Cold War Season 3 soon, so here's how you can get your hands on it.
Coming soon is a new tactical rifle for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, the CARV.2, commonly referred to as the G11. Here's how you can unlock her as soon as she's available, and a few ways to get her sooner.
As with all new Call of Duty seasons, there are new weapons to unlock and level up. Seasons 2 and 3 of Cold War and Warzone were especially lavish, offering players six new weapons in both seasons.
For season 3, we already got Swiss K31 , PCA и ballistic knife , but there is three new weapons, which will soon appear in the game. Most exciting is the redesign of the stock G11 rifle from the original Black Ops, now called the CARV.2.
Here's how you'll be able to unlock the G11 in Warzone and Cold War, as well as some ways to play around with weapons early on.
How to unlock CARV.2 in Warzone and Cold War
Activision has announced that the CARV.2 tactical rifle will be released in the third season of Warzone and Cold War in Thursday, May 6
Season 2 weapons such as 20mm sniper rifle ZRG and Shadowhunter R1, has encountered difficulties and is not yet available. The developers have confirmed that this firearm will be unlockable via an in-game challenge, but after bug fixes, so we won't know what the problem is until the weapon is released.
Along with the shop trial, a blueprint for the CARV.2 will also be released. The developers have confirmed that it is included in the Plastik Porotype Bundle with Blueprint called Konsole, which will also be released on May 6th.
The CARV.2 has been described as a weapon that stands out in the tactical rifle class for its "high rate of fire, powerful damage, solid recoil control, and high ammo capacity right from the start."
With this weapon, it is possible that Warzone will have another burst meta.
How to get CARV.2 in advance
Players are reporting that you can get your hands on the CARV.2 earlier by playing Cold War Zombie Mode and Warzone Outbreak.
By completing challenge missions in Zombies and Outbreak, you will receive certain rewards. Players have shown footage of them receiving the CARV.2 during testing, but Treyarch may have since patched the exploit.
In Warzone the players reported that you can try out the CARV.2 in Warzone Orientation mode. You will only get the basic version, but it will give you an idea of how the weapon feels.
Here's how to try out the CARV.2 in Warzone:
- Launch Warzone
- Select "Private match and practice".
- Queue for "War Zone Orientation"
- After you show up, drop your 1911
- You will either have a CARV.2 or a FARA 83.
- If you got FARA, go back and try again until you get CARV.
It looks like it's much more likely to get DANGER 83 in, but it's worth trying a few times to see if you can get the hang of G11, but again, it may have been fixed.
