How to get to the Caelida Colosseum in Elden Ring
Elden Ring and its DLCs have been rumored to make headlines recently. However, this was not due to any official announcement from developer FromSoftware or publisher Bandai Namco, but to a lot of evidence insiders could glean from a recent patch rolled out for the game.
While players have yet to receive any announcement regarding the story DLC, FromSoftware has recently released a new patch. Version 1.08, along with standard balancing and performance optimizations, also adds a PvP mode in Colosseums scattered across the world map.
While players can access these Colosseum PvP events from the Roundtable by interacting with the statue of Queen Marika, you'll need to travel to the Colosseums to access them. While the Leindell and Limgrave Coliseums are fairly easy to find, the Coliseums in Calida can be tricky.
Accessing the Kelid Colosseum in Elden Ring is a little tricky, as it requires players to access the Siofra River region
The Limgrave and Leindell Coliseums in Elden Ring are relatively easy to access, and players commonly stumble upon them while exploring the regions. Limgrave Coliseum is located east of the destroyed bridge, while Leindell Coliseum is opposite the Queen's Bedchamber, accessible directly in front of Godfrey, Lord Boss's first battle.
Even though you're in full view of the players in the Isolated Trading Hut, you can't get to the Colosseum without falling to your death. The correct way to get to the Colosseum in Kelida is via the Siofra River, accessible via the Limgrave. Here is a step by step guide on how to get to the Colosseum in Caelida in Elden Ring:
- Travel to the well of the Siofra River in the northern region of Limgrave from behind the Warmaster's Hut.
- Descend through the well of the Siofra River to reach the Siofra River.
- Head north through Siofra to reach the Grace Worship Forest.
- Head north from the Place of Grace of the Forest of Worship to get to another lift that will take players to Calydus.
- Players need at least two Stonesword Keys to activate the elevator.
- Once players activate the elevator, they will be able to ascend from Siofra towards Kaelid and will be able to capture Deep Siofra's Well upon exiting the elevator chamber.
- Move north from the Deep Siofra well along a narrow path with two giant archers.
- Players can kill giant archer golems, which is recommended as they have incredible range and can deal a lot of damage using their large arrows.
- Players will eventually come face to face with the Great Jar that guards the Colosseum of Quelida.
- Interacting with the Great Jar will allow players to challenge the three Champions of the Great Jar, and upon defeating them, players will receive the Greatjar Talisman and access to the Kelida Colosseum.
The announcement of a new free DLC from Elden Ring came as a surprise to many players.
The Colosseums were already available in the game, but left unused, with no way to enter them or interact with these huge structures. Many players have assumed that these Coliseums, which are present in all regions, are intended for dueling arenas, as in the two expansions for Dark Souls 3, Ashes of Ariandel и The Ringed City.
