How to tame wolves in Walheim?
Luckily, getting your own wolf in Walheim is pretty easy and only takes a few minutes. Just follow the instructions below:
- Go to the edge of the Meadow game zone, to the Gora location.
- Build a small animal cage with a door using wooden planks.
- Build a wooden platform on the inner wall. This will allow you to jump out without letting the wolf escape, or make an aviary with two doors (one for entry and one for exit).
- Build a ladder on the outside of the paddock, directly opposite the wooden platform.
- Find a wolf in the mountain biome and let it follow you.
- Run back to your pen and lock the animal in when the wolf is inside. This can be done using the two doors mentioned above (in this case, there should already be meat in the aviary) or using a wooden platform.
Once the wolf is securely anchored, you need to feed the wolf meat. To do this, simply climb up the ladder and throw the meat into the pen. During the taming process, you will constantly need raw meat, so make sure you have enough meat.
It is also important not to get too close to the pen, as the wolf will constantly attack the wooden walls. After you constantly feed him lots of raw meat, he should become docile and have hearts over his head.
Your newly tamed companion can also be crossbred with other wolves, providing a constant supply of loyal hunting dogs.
