How to pass the Limgrave region of Elden Ring: Bosses, Items, Secrets, etc.

Detailed text walkthrough of the Limgrave region in Elden Ring at 100%. All quests, bosses, location of all things and secrets.

The first step. After taking the elevator, we find ourselves in an open world.
Ahead on the left is a girl in a Varre mask, next to lost grace. On the right on the descent there is a Pool of Summoning - this is a figurine of a crucifix, for summoning other players. To the left on the shore there is another strong giant boss, we also go around it. We kill all the rest in order to accumulate resources and runes for pumping the hero. There are soldiers ahead in the forest, they can be killed quietly from behind (X key to sneak, MMB to aim, we can deliver a fatal blow). To the left on the bank there are demi-humans with clubs. To the right above the ruins of a harpy. In addition, there are neutral animals (boars, squirrels, birds, deer), they also give some runes for them, but they are mainly needed to extract ingredients. In the forests we collect bright red and yellow flowers and other plants. After death, all the ingredients remain, only experience runes are lost. The runes can be returned if you visit the place of death, but if we do not have time to do this and die for the 2nd time, then they will disappear forever.

forest cave. We go around the boss on the horse on the right side. Near the ruins we kill 3 harpies. Near the wall we collect poor man's rune, fragment of ruins. We climb the rocks above, there are objects fragment of ruins. On the right cliff there is a scarab of tears - a beetle that rolls a ball, for killing it we can restore healing flasks. In the northwest, behind the forest, we go along the cliff, we will find the entrance to the cave. Next to the cart we kill a soldier, we get Soldier Godric's Helmet. At the entrance to the cave, the lost grace and the whirlpool of the call. It is better to visit the caves with a torch, but you can do without it. There are several wolves inside, but they do not see us, some can be killed silently. In the center we break the barrels, behind them we will find an object cracked pot (to create throwing weapons). On the walls you can collect moss, fireflies, glowing stones. To the right behind the fog is a mini boss.

Boss: Beastman of Farum Azula. At first, he delivers two blows or a run-up strike, we beat them off with a block. When he raises the weapon above him, we roll over him, hit from behind. If he screams, then he will carry out a long combo, there will not be enough stamina to reflect all the blows, so we temporarily run away from him. The rest of the time we hit him. If you can’t win in close combat, then we constantly run from him. We are waiting for him to start a long combo, after completion we run up, hit several times, run back again. So we can win without damage. You can also use a halberd as a weapon, its blows stun the beastman.

Reward: Fire Dragon Talisman (resistance to fire).

Ruins at the gate. In the north, beyond the forest, there are ruins where the soldiers set up their camp. We can eliminate them all one by one. In the center there is an enemy with a horn, if he blows, then the whole camp will immediately attack us. Lastly, we kill an officer with a spear and a shield. We attack him from behind. For the victory we get armor element. In the camp in the center we examine the stele with the text, we get Map: Zamogilye, west (a colored background will appear on the game map). There are 2 carts on the side, jump on them (F key), open the chests, inside flail, Army double-dealer. Where there were the most enemies in the camp, we are looking for a descent into the dungeon, in the chest we will find Ashes of War: Stormstrike upgrade, sharpening knife. Improvement can only be placed near the crystal of grace.

Northern shore of the lake. East of the camp, near the Lost Grace Road. We sit down
near this crystal, a girl will sit down next to us. She will offer her help. Thereafter
we will be able to pump our hero near crystals, spending runes, and we will get an item
Bone Whistle, which will call the stream horse.
You can call a horse from a quick cell: open the menu, on the right of the quick access cell, right-click on any, choose what to put there. We put the Bone Whistle. During the game, hold down the "E" key, press the direction keys on the right side of the keyboard. In the same cells, you can put other calls, throwing weapons.

On horseback you can fight, collect all the items on the way. Some bosses are best killed on horseback. If the horse dies, then you will need to return to the crystal to restore. Temple of Elle. We return to the center of the location. Behind the boss on a horse, in the ruins of the temple, the merchant Kale sits, you can buy items from him for runes. We can buy from him:

  • Master's set (we will be able to create items ourselves) - 300 runes. Telescope (you can inspect enemies from afar) - 500 runes.
  • Nomad Warrior Handbook 1, 2 - 500 runes.
  • Preacher's Handbook - 1000 runes.

Nearby there is a blacksmith's table, on which you can improve any weapon. For improvements, you need runes and blacksmith stones. Most of the stones can be obtained in dungeons and mines. When we get the horse and return to the Temple of Elle, the witch of Renna will meet us at the entrance. If we admit that we have a horse, she will additionally give Spirit Calling Bell, Ashes of Lone Wolves (item for summoning 3 ghost wolves). We insert the ashes into a quick cell, we will be able to summon wolves during difficult battles. This will consume magic. Boss: Tree Guardian. With a horse and wolves, you can already try to kill the horse boss. But if it does not work out, then you can postpone this battle even further. Enemy attacks can hit from any direction, but he prepares them for a long time. We deliberately provoke him to strike, bounce, and after his swing we drive up, inflict a couple of blows, bounce away.

Island

coastal cave. From the initial temple we go to the northwest. We will gradually descend along the rocks to the shore. On the way there is a mini boss troll, it is better to kill him on horseback. We spin under his feet, we strike. With a few blows of the halberd, he can even be knocked to the ground and finished off without resistance. In the north of the sandy coast, you can see traces of an invisible creature, if we track it and kill it, we will get "Ashes of War: Stomp (swipe)«.

In the northern dead end, a strong warrior with a sword sits by the fire, near him you can take a piece of white flesh, a smoldering butterfly, sword churner. Along the coast we go south. There is an island nearby, but you can't swim. On the shore we kill weak demi-humans, iridescent stones and twine fall out of them. On the southern part of the coast, under the arch, a merchant sits, you can buy from him: enhancement pills, broadsword, club, shortbow and arrows.

To shoot a bow, aim at RMB, shoot at LMB. On the southern edge of the coast there are monsters with spikes, skeletons come to life. Skeletons need to be hit again when they are already on the ground so that they no longer come to life. Near the skeletons lies a gilded bird's foot. There is a spiritual source here, on them a horse can fly high into the air, on the F key. You can’t break it. On two streams we will be able to return upward. From the shore we enter the cave, activate grace. There are a lot of demihumans in the dark, in order to notice them in time without a torch, we can constantly press aiming at the target (mouse wheel).

Boss: Demihuman leader. At the end of the cave, 2 bosses and several of their minions live at once. The nearest boss is behind the waterfall, it is better to lure him to your exit so as not to wake the second one. In battle, it is better to call on wolves or other helpers. Bosses strike with a swing, dodge them forward, strike from the back. Reward: Tailor's tools, Sewing needle (you can improve armor).

Temple of the Dragon Communion. From the cave we do not go back through the teleport, we continue to go forward. As a result, we will get to the surface on a separate island. Activate grace. There are only animals on the island, in the center of the ruin, where a petrified dragon lies. Here, on the red altar, you can exchange dragon hearts for spells. On the south coast of the island we take Forge stone of darkness. We return back along the map, to the point "First step".

Lake

How to defeat Eghil, the winged dragon boss in Elden Ring

Boss: Eghil, the winged dragon. We go down to the lake in the southeast, there is a path down near the initial temple. There are only weak zombies on the lake, but when we approach their big fire, the dragon boss will fly. The exits are not blocked, so for now we can just skip past. To defeat the dragon, we remove the shield, take the most powerful weapon, sit on horseback. The dragon is extremely dangerous only from afar, we quickly jump close, hitting its hind legs. Up close, he can only stomp with one foot, we will lose some health. But if he took off, then you urgently need to bounce to the side so as not to fall under fire. As soon as the dragon lands, we quickly jump to its new place, continue to beat. When the boss is low on health, he will start hitting with both his mouth and his tail, so you need to be under the belly or between the legs. Reward: Dragon Heart (on the island it can be exchanged for 1 of 3 fire spells).

Tunnel Zamogilya. In the northern part of the lake we enter the cave, go down the elevator. At an intermediate height there is a tunnel in the corner, hidden there Outskirts Rune. Below we activate grace. In the mine, weak monsters are miners. They are resistant to conventional weapons, so hit them with a torch or other weapon with elemental damage. We collect from the walls blacksmith stones. There are enemies throwing stones, if you hit them on the bag from behind, they will explode, we retreat in time. There are enemies with lanterns, they attack with fire.

We go down on the 2nd elevator. There are zombie dogs on the lower floor, they are also vulnerable to fire, in close combat they bite quickly and often, it is better to eliminate them imperceptibly or from afar. Gathering resources Large chunk of shiny stone. At the middle height of the elevator, we jump down to the intermediate floor, this is the main path. Collecting more blacksmith stones. Behind the gate is the boss.

Boss: Rock Troll. He is armed with a club, his body is made of stone, so it is better to attack with fire. Almost all of his attacks hit the ground, so don't dodge and roll, but jump in time. We spin under his feet, hit and jump. Reward: Roar Medallion (increases breath attacks).

Burnt ruins. There are large crabs on the lake itself, it is better to attack them on a horse, constantly attack them from behind, they turn slowly. Falling out of crabs crab eggs, a piece of white flesh. Poisonous cocoons are useless, it is better not to touch them. On the southern shore of the lake, zombies and furry dogs roam among the stone walls. After cleaning we find outskirts rune. In the center of the ruins, a descent into the dungeon, there are several rats. They are weak, but can surround. We hit once, and immediately return to the corridor, in a narrow place we kill the monsters one by one. At the end of the dungeon there is a chest, if we open it, we will fall into a "portable trap". We teleport to the Crystal Tunnel of Sellia, in the northeast corner of the global map. Can be assembled inside gravity stones. Until we defeat the local crystal enemies, we run out down to the exit from the cave. Outside, head west along the Aeonian Swamp. Only from the central crystals of grace will we be able to transfer to the initial part of the map.

coastal ruins. To the south of the lake we go along the rocks, only harpies and birds live here. Exactly south of the Burnt Ruins, we will find the lost grace. In this place (or in any other, after some conditions?), the girl Melina will appear again. She teleports us to the fortress.

Fortress of the Round Table. She is outside the world. On the map, it will be marked in the lower left corner. There are several peaceful characters inside. Dee will talk about the dead. Diallos will ask you to find the girl Lania. Priest Korin sells various prayers: health recovery, fire attacks. Old twin servants bark various weapons, armor, jewelry. The rest of the premises will open gradually. In another corridor there is a girl Fia, after her hugs we get Blessing of the Canopy temporary buff. A little further is master blacksmith Hugh, he can improve our weapons above level 3. From the central balcony you can jump into the hall. Here is a battle with a mage. In the side room pose "respectful bow", Pata with cryptography. In the hall we kill the red sorcerer, we get summoning finger potion, Tongue of the mocker.

In the basement of the fortress we insert 1 xiphoid key, we get Crepus Black Key Crossbow. We spend the 2nd key, we get Assassin's Prayer. The door to the fortress is locked. You can return to the world only on the map, moving to any point of grace. Purchased prayers need to be set up near the point of grace. Later, it can be used on the forward key, on the right side of the keyboard.

East

South shore of the lake. On the southeast corner of the lake, on the shore there is a fire with a canopy, slice of meat. A little further on the hill is grace. Beastmen and soldiers fight on the shore, they can drop brass shield.

Prison of the Lonely Bloodhound. From the fire we go exactly to the south, on the hill we will find a prison - this is a round area with a purple disk, where you can enter the battle with the boss.

Boss: Bloodhound Knight Darryvil. He attacks with a long blade, fast but weak. Any of his attacks can be blocked with a large shield, and then hit him with impunity. Reward: Long Dagger Bloodhound's Fang.

There is a big caravan on the east road. Two trolls are pulling a wagon, followed by soldiers and zombies. We can kill them all, we can just sneak up on the back of the wagon to get it from the chest big ax. To the west of the road, on a cliff, there is a smithing stone of darkness. Near the big pole golden bird's foot.

We follow the road to the south. There is a gorge on the way, behind it is a bridge to another region. To the east of the gorge there are a couple of buildings where there are a lot of enemies. A little to the south, on the top of the cliff, there is a monument in the form of a quarter of a sphere, in front of it Shards of Starlight.
We jump from the cliff to the roof of the eastern building, kill the sorcerer, lies nearby Scroll of the Royal Family. We kill the 2nd sorcerer on the western building. Down between the zombie buildings and
pair of strong warriors with swords. By killing soldiers, we can randomly get any part of Godric's soldier's armor.

The ruins of the settlement. We go around the eastern part of the open map. There is a ruin in the middle of the road where poisonous flowers live. It is better to take a spear or halberd to attack the flowers from afar, or take an antidote with you. In the far part of the ruins there is a large flower, it can poison, release lightning, hit with a bud.
We move away from any attacks, and then we continue to beat. Resources fall out of it: poison flower, miranda powder.
On the high wall you can see a bonus, from the east we climb the huge ruins, from the top we jump onto the wall, take the lily of Trina. From here we will see that behind the stone walls of the ruins
there is a descent into the dungeon. We go down, inside immediately there is a door with fog.

Boss: Pumpkinhead Madman. This is a large warrior with a golden helmet on his head and a spiked club. His attacks can cause bleeding. He quickly runs up and strikes forward, you need to either block the blow with a good shield, or jump forward and to the side. He has little health, and you can have time to kill the boss while he is distracted by the summoned warriors.
After victory, grace will appear"Ruined cellar". We open the next door, behind it is the sorceress Sellena. You can buy several staff spells from her.

Dirty Coast. From the crystal "Northern shore of the lake", where we met the girl, we go to the northeast. On the way there are many statues in the form of swords. Further between the two ruins is a checkpoint of mounted warriors, fenced with a wooden palisade. Outside, we kill 3 horse enemies, inside the camp 3 warriors with long swords. They randomly drop pieces. armor from kaiden. Near the fire we take the gunsmith's guide 1.
We go further to the northeast. There are many wolves in the meadow. On the edge of the cliff, by the river we activate grace. You can go down into the river, where jellyfish live, attacking with poison.

River

NPC Boss: Nerijus, Bloody Finger. We go north along the river. Here on us for sure
the red character Nerijus will attack. This is not another player, but a bot. The enemy attacks with two daggers, causes bleeding. We defend ourselves from it for some time. A little later, Yura, the Bloody Fingers hunter, will appear. Samurai will help us defeat the enemy. This battle shows what situations can be in a multiplayer game. Reward: Potion of the Summoning Finger, Reduvius sword.

Dirty cave. In the middle of the river there is an entrance to a cave. Inside, in the bushes, streamers with bells are hidden, we go around them so as not to raise the alarm. We kill a detachment of bandits, collect moss. There is a chest in the left dead end, inside there are 5 mushrooms. On the right is the door to the battle.

Boss: Patchwork. In a large cave, take Woven Robe, Woven Pants from the chest.
A warrior with a spear and a shield will attack us from above. It is better to arm yourself in the same way, to repel his blows with a shield, and only then beat him. Reward: spear +7, leather armor set.
After losing half of his health, the boss will ask for mercy. If we keep him alive, we can trade with him. If we kill, it will drop Bell sphere Patchwork, it must be taken to the Round Table Fortress, given to the twins, and then all Patchwork's goods will be sold there. Goods: ingredients, xiphoid key, preacher's handbook 2, sword, kite shield.

Dirty Catacombs. We go north along the river. At the source of the river, on top of a cliff, there is a monument to a crooked creature, it points down. Below, at the end of the river, is the entrance to the dungeon.
In the cave, small creatures that pretend to be stones, lure into traps, shoot from afar. In battle with them, we can get bleeding. In the main corridor there are pressure plates, when pressed, arrows are fired. We can press the button, cling to the wall, the arrows will hit the enemies. Ahead in the room you need to press the lever to open the door ahead. We go to the side corridor.

Where to find and how to defeat the boss Duelist, Gravekeeper in Elden Ring

Boss: Duelist, grave keeper. This is a gladiator armed with two hammers connected by a chain. Attacks quickly, but all attacks are blocked by a good shield. It is enough to call assistants and beat him from the side. Reward: Hammer Chasing.

Thunder Hill (North)

storm gate. In the north of the location, the road leads through the gorge. Lost grace at the entrance. Outside the gate are a few archers and a troll boss. It is not necessary to fight the troll, you can ride a horse through the fortification on the right.
Immediately at the exit from the gorge, by a light tree lies golden seed (+1 flask). Wolves and stone caterpillars live on the rocks near the gorge. In the center of the round building, you can activate the blue circle "The Penitentiary on Thunder Hill“, inside a strong enemy.

Boss: Crucible Knight. He is heavily armored, with a sword and shield. Physical attacks do little damage, it is better to attack with magic or smear the weapon with any effect.
We return along the rock to the gate, jump onto the stone bridge with towers, kill a couple of soldiers, find Arrow Talisman (strengthening small arms). Nearby we can jump to the semicircular ruins to kill the troll one on one. Trolls live in the northern mountain meadow, grow mushrooms, Trina lilies.
On the western part of the hill lies a stone golem with an axe, when approached, it will attack. We stand near his legs, a little behind, and hit until he falls.
There is a graveyard along the western cliff with weak jellyfish monsters and skeletons. Here you can collect the ingredients: grave lily of the valley, magical lubricant. Near the big crypt there is Ashes of Godric's soldiers (summon 2 soldiers, slightly better than wolves).

Shack on Thunder Hill. North of the hill, there is grace on the road. There are two wooden houses nearby, we jump onto the high porch, take xiphoid key. A girl is sitting in the 2nd house, from her we will get the action “sit sideways". When we come here for the 2nd time, instead of the girl it will lie golden seed (+1 flask).
A weak troll walks on the eastern road, near him lies on the edge of a cliff Crystal Tear of Power. Under the bridge we go to the northern cliff, inspect the multifaceted building, on its threshold we take Little red figurine, Duelist's Crooked Finger (we will be able to fight with other PvP players).
The northern road leads to the destroyed bridge. An old woman with a staff sits on it, she will tell you about the next castle. On the edge of the bridge Nomad Warrior Handbook 7. From the cliff of the bridge, you can go down and go through the rocks with wolves, this is the path to the northern region. We don't need to go there yet.
From the shack we go along the eastern road. On the way there is a camp fenced with a palisade.
Inside are several weak soldiers and 1 strong spearman. Collecting gourmet meat, parts of the armor of the knight Godric. Inside the chest Hot Shield with Herald Beast.

dead catacombs. Between the camp and the north bridge, there is a statue on the rock pointing to the dungeon. From the statue we go to the north, we will see a ghost, we enter the door. Grace inside, locked doors.
There are skeletons in the corridors, it is better to hit them with blunt weapons. After death, each skeleton will slowly begin to resurrect, you need to inflict another blow on it so that it finally dies.
We run to the end, press the lever. Here you can collect resources grave violet, blood rose, root resin. We return to the doors, we enter the boss.

Boss: Black Knife Assassin. This is an undead killer, he moves extremely slowly, but at the same time he teleports behind us and attacks from behind. You need to constantly turn around, block his blows and beat back. Reward: Crimson Assassin's Dagger (amulet, crits restore health), Root of Death. The root must be taken to the Round Table Fortress, shown to the person at the table, he will make a mark on the map.

Bridge of the Saints. Outside, between the north bridge and the small lake, on the south cliff
shouts the talking pot Alexander Ironfist. He's stuck in the ground. We approach him from behind, hit a few times, and he will be able to get out. Reward: pose "Glee", gourmet meat.
Right before the bridge there is grace. On the bridge, a weak pumpkinhead beats his head on the ground, we finish him off before he has time to come to his senses, we get a temple stone. The bridge leads to the next eastern region.

castle tunnel. From the shack we go along the western road, this is the ascent to the castle. We'll find a way along the way Ashes of War: Wild Strikes. In front of the castle, a detachment of soldiers, one shoots from a ballista. It is better to skip past everyone or quietly sneak up from the side to neutralize the ballista. Inside the castle is a long corridor and grace.

How to defeat the boss Margit, the Dire Omen in Elden Ring

Boss: Margit, the Terrible Omen. This is the first serious opponent, the final boss of the location. Before meeting him, it is advisable to clear all the side dungeons around, or even the following regions. No matter how we upgrade the hero, at each level he will receive resistance to all damage, and at high levels we will be able to survive longer. At about level 50, we can just call this boss, not paying attention to his tactics. It is better to remove the shield, take the lightest and fastest weapon. You can remove some of the armor.
Side weapons in other cells must be removed, they also affect the weight. In the detailed stats, the hero should have "light equipment" in the right column, or at least "medium equipment" in order to be able to move faster.
The boss is armed with a long stick, can throw a couple of magic knives. Almost all of his attacks are delayed at the very end, you need to get used to this in order to roll to the side in time.
Summoned creatures are best created in the 2nd half of the battle. After losing half his health, the boss will start creating a magic sword or hammer. With a sword, he will carry out long combos or sharp swings, you need to roll. Hammer jumps are hard to dodge, it's better to run back and jump away from the boss.
Reward: Bag of talismans (2nd cell for wearing talismans). Only after defeating the boss will we be able to go to the castle.

Thunder Veil Castle

Storm Veil Main Gate. The entrance gates are locked. On the right there is a path to the central courtyard, there are many enemies on the way.
To the left of the gate we enter the building, one of the servants will advise us to go through the breach on the left. We jump on the rocks to the wall, then back to the rock.
On the western path of birds with blades on their feet, it is better to wait for their raid, block the blow, and strike back. You can go to a dead end from below in the south, take it from the body 10 bolts.

The slopes of Thunder Veil Castle. We climb the stairs, along the walls of the castle.
We examine the body, it has a damaged leather shield. On the way, red warriors with torches and crossbows. We enter the building. On the left is a warehouse with boxes, an enemy with an ax will attack behind them, in the corner we take claw hooks from the body. We climb the stairs, from afar we blow up red barrels with fiery arrows, otherwise we will fall into several traps. The door is locked, in a dead end on the right 5 throwing daggers. On the top floor we enter the 2nd door. In the dark, a knight with a shield will attack, we kill him, we take him from the chest curved sword talisman, rusty key. We go down, unlock the first doors.
Behind the doors, around the first corner, an enemy with a knife lurked. In a dark corner marinated bird's foot. You can climb higher, jump over to a separate platform, take fire grease.
We leave to the balcony, we go down below into the round tower, in a dead end lies a stone hammer. On the main path, we go outside, climb higher. In one dead end lie 3 mushrooms. We enter the tower with an elevator. Here is a strong knight with a halberd, he can be lured upstairs and thrown into the abyss. On top of the fire grease. The elevator is not working yet. Save in the side room.

bastion tower. Above the elevator there is a platform where the crossbowman sat down. You can jump to it on the central coil. Behind the elevator you can go to the balcony, take outskirts rune. The main path is from below, from the save room. Several birds with blades are on the way. Ahead in a dead end is a trap with barrels, blacksmith stone 2.
We pass along the roof, jump down or go down to the temple. In the hall of the temple, the sorcerer Roger, you can buy 3 spells Ashes of War.
Further on the way is a knight, a guard. In a large building, a multi-armed monster walks downstairs, which was met in the prologue. We pass along the 2nd floor, take the Veil of Falsity from the chest.
Locked doors in the corridors gourmet meat, highlander's ax. On the 1st floor, you can hide in a narrow corridor and fire at the monster from there. There are bleeding pills in the central hall.
