How to Solve a Puzzle in Half-Life: Alyx

Half-Life: Alyx Chapter 2: Quarantine Zone, has a strange button combination puzzle. Here's how to solve it.
At the start of Chapter 2: Quarantine Zone, you will encounter a Half-Life: Alyx puzzle. The puzzle is a large box with a 4x4 grid of buttons connected to the gate with a cable. To raise the gate, you need to press the correct buttons.
But what are the right buttons? We are here to help. Short video above ( and here on YouTube ) contains the solution, or you can just continue reading.

As you approach the puzzle area, you'll see the piece of cardboard begin to hang, forming a giant eye. This is strange. You will then enter a channel where you will find a button puzzle.
You will also see many mysterious drawings on the walls under the bridge. You may notice that many of these drawings are 4x4 grids of dots, like a puzzle with buttons. (Along with some very cool illustrations depicting the history of Half-Life. Take some time to check it out.) But which grid shows the correct solution?
In the middle of this chamber there is a metal cage with a lot of cardboard. Pull the cage out by the red handle and the cardboard will float in the air. It's hard to tell at first what shape it's forming, but if you stand in the right place as you walk up the ramp from the other side of the cage, you'll see that the cardboard has turned into another giant eye.
And what is the eye looking at? The right decision.
Press the buttons shown in the picture - third from the left in the top row, second from the left in the bottom row - and the gate will open.
