How to craft Smooth Rock in Minecraft?
Learn how to craft Smooth Stone in Minecraft with our easy tutorial! We will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating a smooth stone in the game. Smooth Stone is useful for decoration and is used as a crafting ingredient in some recipes. You will also learn how to make smooth stone slabs.
HOW TO MAKE A SMOOTH STONE
First of all, we will need a kiln to create the smooth stone we want. This takes up eight cobblestones, and can be organized on a crafting table like the one below!
Once we have our oven, we will want to place it on the ground or wherever you want it in your base/home. We'll need some fuel for the furnace, so either find some coal or chop down some trees and put it in the bottom of the furnace. Then we again need a cobblestone. Put this in the top empty oven box and it should start doing its magic!
This will create a normal stone for you. This is not what we need, but we are on the right track. Create as much of this stone as you want for a smooth version, then place the stone you created in the furnace where the cobblestone was! This will then burn again and this will create the smooth stone you have been looking for!
Silk Touch
You can get normal stone by mining it with a pickaxe that is enchanted with silk touch.
Villages
You can find smooth stone inside some of the houses in various villages that you will find throughout the map. There is also the possibility of it spawning in stone chests in villages.
MANUFACTURE OF SMOOTH STONE SLABS
If you're wondering how to make some smooth stone slabs with this fresh new material, then it's super easy! Return to your crafting table and then line up three Smooth Stones at the bottom of the crates.
Once you do that, you'll get yourself some smooth stone slabs! For every three Smooth Stones you use, you will receive six slabs.
SMOOTH STONE RECIPES
There is pretty much one recipe that calls for smooth stone to craft, and that is a blast furnace. You will need five Iron Ingots, a Furnace, and three Smooth Stones. The blast furnace is used to smelt ore blocks and is twice as fast as a normal furnace! This is useful for making a large number of ingots very quickly.
