Who is playing in this event?

The first wave of guest players has been announced and some of the names you'll recognize if you're a Battle Royale fan.

How to watch Fortnite Code Red?

The tournament will be available to watch on the Booktv website and presumably along with the rest of the players on their streams. You can also tune into the main stream on the Esports Arena Twitch channel.

The promotion takes place on Thursday, September 12, starting at 20:00 Moscow time and will last for about seven hours.

Rules and format

If you haven't tuned in to a Code Red tournament yet, the rules can get a little confusing. Luckily, we have what you need to know.

Keep in mind that these are the rules for qualifiers that take place on September 10, but if they differ from the main event, we will move to the new rules.

How to Win?

For duet: Your goal as a duo is to get five (5) team games with the most kills. You can play as many games as you like, but only your top five (5) games and kills (as a team) will count. Note that the middle placement is the first tiebreaker.

  1. Only your top 5 games are credited to your account
  2. Kill = 1 point
  3. Note: Two (2) duos from this qualifier will be invited to the Main Event!

  2. Sign in to your streaming account. You must stream from this registered account for the duration of the qualification.
  3. Choose your platform (PC, PS4 or XB1)
  4. Enter your Epic Games nickname
  5. Invite your teammate
  6. Join the official Discord Boom TV
  7. If you have any questions, please contact the administrator in our discord!

In-Game Settings / Stream Rules

  1. Your entire team must be streaming on Twitch, Mixer, or YouTube.
  2. You must have
    saved Videos on demand
with past broadcasts so that you have a recording of your gameplay for this qualifier.
  3. If you do not have past broadcasts, you will be disqualified.
  4. You need to register on boom.tv
  5. No deception. If you are caught cheating, you and your teammates will be disqualified and banned from all BoomTV activities.
  6. You can use controllers on PC.

These events have been exciting to watch in the past, so if you're a Fortnite fan, you won't want to miss this one.

While it's not exactly the same level of Friday's Fortnite, it's still sure to draw in thousands of viewers.
