How to make a shovel in Grounded
If you want to be able to carry some fresh water with you, then you will need to bring a shovel.
You need a shovel, and this can only be achieved with the help of this tool to dig a bug out of the ground, which has the materials we need.
To get the Shovel in Grounded, we need an Acorn Shell. Acorns can be found near the oak tree, but you need to be careful, because this place is crawling with some evil spiders! If you want to fight them, make sure you have a pretty good weapon. However, early in the game, you're probably better off just avoiding them all together. If you have arachnophobia, now is the time to play around with your Safe Mode settings.
At the very least, you need to bring a hammer with you. This is needed to crack the acorns, so it won't work without it!
Either climb something or look across the sky at a large oak tree with red leaves on it. That's where we need to go to find the Acorns we need.
Make your way to the tree and try to avoid mistakes along the way. You will eventually reach the base and see many roots sprouting across the ground. Look for the acorns that have fallen from the tree, take out your hammer and then smash them.
Collect all the pieces that are broken off from it, we will probably still need them. For now, we just need one shell for the recipe. We will also need two twigs and one woven fiber.
Once you've crafted a shovel, you can start looking for Grab Larvae! They are very useful because they have the materials needed to create a dining room.
