To get the Rail Mount Shotgun in Sons of the Forest, you will need to work your way through a large bunker with a cave entrance. First you need to head west of the snowy mountains, south of the river that flows from east to west and cuts the island. You are looking for a small cave next to a stream and you will enter and walk down a very long corridor and then you will need service key cardto open locked doors.
As you work in the area, you will have to fight the mutants and make your way past the lobby and then through the glass doors, where you will see two grand staircases. Then, go past the pool and find a bar, and next to the nightclub entrance, there is a door with a keycard scanner that you can open with a VIP keycard that will take you to the shotgun Rail Attachment.
The Shotgun Rail mount can also be found in the food court area, where you can find a VIP keycard and a crossbow. It can also be found on the beach located north of the island.
