Night City is a vast open world that cannot be fully seen on foot. This is where cars come in, and CD Projekt Red allowing players to call their cars at any time was a nice feature to include. Did you know you can switch camera angles?
Third person driving
To control in third person in Cyberpunk 2077, all you need to do is press Q to change the camera. For controllers, press right on the D-Pad. You must be in a car to change the camera angle. Once you've changed the setting once, it should default to third-person POV every time you get in the car, unless you decide to change it in the future.
POV cameras while driving in Cyberpunk 2077 are in first person by default, just like in the rest of the game. But for many players, it may seem too claustrophic to drive through Night City in first person because it limits your perspective to what's in front of the windshield. All outside corners are quite limited.
In open world games like Grand Theft Auto, third person driving gives you a wider view of the world and your surroundings. In the end, though, it's best to try each POV cam in person; Everyone has different preferences for this mechanic, but it's great that CD Projekt Red has given players plenty of options.
