The first big decision to make when starting a new adventure in the Dragon Isles is whether or not you care about Dragonflight's story at all. If you do, then you'll want to dedicate some time to reading text bubbles from NPC interactions, watching every unmissable cutscene, and looking for interesting side quests and soaking up everything there is to do.
You can also fly around the Dragon Isles and pick up each Dragonriding glyph, which unlocks all the abilities you can perform while high in the sky.
However, if you don't care about the story at all, then there are a few little things you can do to speed up the process that goes from 60 to 70.

- If you are in a guild, takeguild cloak from your vendor in Orgrimmar or Stormwindwhich will allow you to set your stone anywhere you want in the Dragon Islands. In addition, getguild banner thatwill help you stack extra experience when killing monsters in a certain area for a long time.
- ConsumeFried Bone Fish, which is a version of the Shadowlands Bear Tartare expansion. This gives your character a 282 speed boost (about 20% at level 60) after you kill the monster that gives experience.
- Equipgemstone Straddling Jewel Doublet, which adds a 13 speed rating for every Shadowlands gem you have equipped.
- Equip a cloak enchantmentFortified Speedfrom Shadowlands that add a 30 speed rating.
In addition to items and consumables, for maximum efficiency, be sure to follow the main line tasks with a special yellow exclamation mark with a brown border, as shown below.
WoW's main story quest has a brown border around a yellow exclamation mark.
Any quest that is not part of the main story will not have a brown border, which means it is optional.
Dragonriding should help you get around the Dragon Isles a lot faster, but grabbing some extra boosts will make aggroing and killing mobs a lot faster, which is the name of the game when it comes to leveling.
