There is a total 45 playable characters in Chrono Cross, which means that you will have many opportunities to form the perfect team. In this guide, we will take a look at the living dog deva in the village of Arni - Poshula. Here's how to recruit Poshul in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.
Where to find and recruit Poshul
Poshul is the first character to be recruited in Chrono Cross, and there are two ways to recruit her. The first way is to treat Poshul with her favorite dish. Hekran Bone. This must be done while Serge is still in home world, however, this should be done before harvesting Komodo Scales at Lizard Rock. To find a bone, first make sure you are in Arni village and head to the hut closest to the exit of the village, inside which you will find a restaurant called Wild Hungry.
Head up the stairs at the back of the restaurant, which leads to another room with a bed, a chest, and a small dog creature. Stand in front of the bed left-hand sidethen press A to find Hekran's bone hidden underneath. From there, head to Poshul in front of City Hall. Press Y open your Key Elements menu standing in front of Poshul, then select Hekran's Bone to start a dialogue that ends with a huge furry blob joining Serge's group.
However, if you missed Hekran's Bone, you will still have another chance to recruit it later - after rejection of Kid's offer join your party while in Another worldLina and Poshul will automatically join your group the next day.
Poshul's abilities
This cheeky canine companion uses its paws in combat, relying on its high strength stats to deal significant damage. Her congenital element yellow (elemental color) is closely associated with earth and lightning, meaning that she will benefit the group the most when fighting opponents with congenital green element... Using technology K9 Ball, Poshul coils his body into a ball before lunging at opponents, ricocheting between them like a pinball.
Dog Dunnit - technology allows Poshul to use a spinning cyclone of yellow energy and then launch it towards enemies to smash them into the ground. Poshul is a fantastic character to recruit early on due to his high health and attack stats, and his innate yellow element makes him a real threat to any green enemies you encounter. If you're looking for an adorable companion dog, don't forget to recruit one before it's too late!
