Twitch Channel Breaks World Record for Hours of Streaming in a Month
The streamer, known by the pseudonym "JayBigs", has broken the previous record for most hours on air in a month on Twitch with a whopping 569 hours in just 30 days.
Just 10 days after the player in Runescape, ItsArmand, broke the world record, surpassed by Twitch streamer Jackson 'JayBigs' on August 30th.
Starting his record-breaking escapade in early August, the streamer has spent the vast majority of his time playing the popular PUBG battle royale.
The 25-year-old American dabbles in a wide range of first-person shooters but mostly stays true to his beloved PUBG title. Gaining over 1500 followers in a 30-day period, his number of followers has surpassed 4400.
Upon reaching the deadline (11:59 p.m. August 30), Jackson tweeted on his social media to announce his feat. In a video leaked from his Twitch stream, he opens what appears to be a bottle of champagne and casually displays his joy as he adds, "Gg dude..."

The Twitch partner has received support from his loyal fans in an attempt to give him the recognition he deserves.
Along with an increase in subscribers, Jay Biggs' channel saw a linear increase in average viewers, with one stream (August 25) attracting over 1,344 views.
Given the transient nature of the world record, surely it's only a matter of time before someone else gets on the podium and surpasses JayBigs' achievement, or will the 569-hour total prove to be too much of a challenge to take on?
