Knighthood: Guide and Cheats for Making the Perfect Knight

Knighthood-img

The creators of Candy Crush King decided to move away from the match-XNUMX genre and introduce a high-quality mobile RPG called Knighthood. We're here to help you get better at the game today by sharing a complete guide to chivalry: tips and cheats to build your perfect character.

Knighthood is a surprisingly good RPG, offering a lot of stuff, from new heroes to unlocking and using in battle, to tons of equipment, enemies, and in-game content. Perfect free to play RPG for fans of the genre!

This isn't King's first mobile RPG as they've delivered similarly high quality games in the past. Legend of Solgard - but for now let's focus on their latest release and check out some Knighthoot tips and tricks below!

Focus on completing all quests as soon as possible

Daily quests and side stories (plus any other quests you may have) should be your top priority each day.

These quests are usually completed by simply doing the things you would normally do anyway, but they reward you with hefty loot and resources - including premium currency - that will come in handy and help you progress faster.

Constantly level up heroes and equipment

I'm the type of player that always puts off updating because I want to save resources and keep them in case I discover something better.

And while it's a good strategy overall, you shouldn't take it to the extreme like I do: if the battles get tough and you still have a lot of items available for upgrades, be sure to use them.

It's hard to say what to focus on first - the Heroes or the Items your Character uses. They all need different upgrades in one way or another, so mix and match.

Personally, I prefer to always keep my best weapon at the maximum level - I think this is the best possible improvement in the game, since most of the time you will be attacking with a weapon.

Next up are your heroes: you can upgrade them using scrolls, but I've found that just having a plan and spinning them in combat is a good way to do it, albeit slowly.

Finally, I don't really care about armor: unless my character is in constant danger of being destroyed, I don't see the point in wasting resources on upgrading armor: instead, wait to get better items.

Visit merchants regularly

There are all sorts of Merchants that you can visit in the Knighthood to buy various items. This can be one of the easiest ways to win some pretty awesome weapons or armor - so be sure to visit them regularly.

They constantly update their promotions, but are in no hurry to just buy anything and everything. Instead, choose only those things that are useful in the long run, and especially those that can help you complete.

Choose your best heroes before each battle

Before each battle in the game, you have the opportunity to choose the heroes that will accompany you. The game thumbs down the ones it finds more suitable, so picking the best ones shouldn't be a big deal.

I personally found out that the best heroes in the game (we'll have an article dedicated to that, so stay tuned!) are the ones that also heal you and/or restore your armor. It all depends on the type of battle you are fighting.

Either way, make sure you spend some time before each battle picking two heroes that are more suited to the job.

Weapon against gloves

knighthood-img

When it comes to your character, he can perform two types of attacks: a weapon attack and a glove attack. But which one should you use?

If you're looking at damage dealt solo, then chances are weapon attack is definitely the winner. However, things are a little more complicated...

Whenever you attack, you'll fill up a hero or rage score, getting closer to using your heroes' special skills or an even more impressive gauntlet super attack. The latter is really powerful, but needs more attacks with less damage dealing Gauntlet.

So deciding which attacks you should prioritize depends on the difficulty of the battle and how important it is to get at least one super Gauntlet with your heroes.

You can usually play through the main story battles without requiring the Gauntlet attack, but usually in the arena you will have to use them at least once. Assess the situation based on the enemies you are facing and decide if you should fill up the Gauntlet meter.

Kill weak enemies first

By "weakest" I mean the person with the lowest health - or the easiest to get.

The reason for this is very simple: the fewer opponents you face, the better, because you have to deal with fewer attacks directed directly at your character.

So always spend a little time looking at opponents and take out the ones that are easiest to get rid of first. (Don't forget your heroes - some attack back row heroes, which is sometimes also a big bonus)

Use your Hero Power and Gauntlets at the right time

Because both of these attacks are extremely powerful, you need to make sure you use them at the right time and against the right enemy.

Each hero is better against a certain type of enemy, so take advantage of that. Some heroes can also inflict effects on opponents - freezing them or stunning them is extremely useful, so it can be wise to attack the strongest opponents with heroes that have this special ability.

However, one thing is clear: timing your attacks and focusing them on the right enemy or enemies can make the difference between winning and losing a battle. So don't randomly use these special attacks when they are unlocked!

Follow the leader of glory

I've found that a solid measure of the best heroes in the game - or at least a solid benchmark for new players - is the Renown leaderboard.

You can see which players are the best in the world by checking this out, and better yet, you can see their gear and most importantly, the assigned heroes.

If you have these heroes too, it's a good indicator that it would be a good idea to focus on them more than others. However, reaching these levels will take time and dedication (and possibly money).

Know your enemy (and your heroes)

One of the most important things in an RPG like Knighthood is knowing your enemy. The game shows you who you have to face in the upcoming battle, and sooner or later you will find out what these enemies are doing and how easy it is to defeat them.

At the same time, knowing your heroes is vital: even though the game itself usually gives the thumbs up to those who are truly more useful, you will eventually have plenty to choose from, so knowing each hero's strengths is essential.

In this way, it will be easier for you to prepare each battle and ensure your victory, and as quickly as possible.

Should you focus on the starting Gauntlet?

knighthood-img

I have a love/hate relationship with the Gauntlet because it deals so little damage compared to a weapon… but then again, the hero special attacks are so strong.

To make things even more challenging, you have a few gauntlets that you can unlock (eventually). And since it takes a lot of resources to upgrade your gauntlet, it begs the question: is it even worth investing in your starting Gauntlet or not?

My personal belief is that you should. It will be a long time before you complete the requirements to unlock the other gauntlets - and the really good ones will take weeks, if not months of play.

You simply won't be able to beat the game unless you upgrade your starting variant - and the truth is that the bonuses it offers aren't that bad after all. One thing is for sure, you will need them, and chances are most players will just play with this basic glove.

Constantly loot in the mines

As you progress through the main campaign, you'll unlock all sorts of features and locations on the map, including mines that reward you with resources - especially for upgrading your gear.

Make sure you are constantly collecting money from these places as resources are not automatically awarded. Ideally, if you can log in several times during the day to collect these resources.

Join an active guild

At the moment, Knighthood's guild system doesn't offer a huge set of new features, but a good guild can still help you progress a lot and make your character better.

Right now, the main function of the guild is to fight guild bosses: it is very difficult to defeat characters that can be attacked by guild members.

Therefore, it is important to be part of an active guild: voting does not start if the guild has at least 5 members, and after that there are all kinds of benefits and promotions.

In the end, you will have to start upgrading

Of course, being a free-to-play RPG game, Knighthood is a game that will eventually hit the wall. It will take some time before you get there, but you will get there.

You must prepare for this in advance by going through the hunt again and again to get shards to improve characters and other types of resources.

The advantage of hunting is that you can raid them as soon as you have three of them, which means that you instantly end the hunt without going through the actual battle. Really helpful!

When polishing these stages, focus on the ones that give you shards for the heroes you like to use in combat to make them even more useful.

These would be our tips and tricks for Knighthood - if you have any additional tips for other players, feel free to let us all know by commenting below.

There are also a lot of other things to talk about, from hero and minion rankings to arena battles and more... but that's what we'll be talking about in future articles focusing on those specifics.

Thank you very much!
