Valorant Error Code 59: What Causes It and How to Fix It?

guide

Valorant error code 59 is an ambiguous error code that players may encounter when launching a tactical shooter. Read on to find out how to fix this.

guide

Valorant is one of the most competitive first person shooter games out there right now. The tactical shooter from Riot Games has seen many improvements since its release in closed beta and continues to improve with each update. However, like most other popular games, Valorant suffers from a lot of bugs and error codes. These error codes are also accompanied by an ambiguous message, which will not necessarily help you get rid of the problem. This can obviously be frustrating, especially if you don't know the real reason. Valorant error code 59 is one such error code that you may encounter while downloading the game. So let's see what this error code means and how you can easily fix it.

What Causes Error Code 59 in Valorant?

Valorant's official support page states that Valorant error code 59 points to "LegalInfoInitFailure". Riot Games does not specify what exactly this means; however, it instructs players to restart the game client if they encounter this error code. Restarting the game client is actually a common solution for most of the error codes you may encounter when loading or during matches. And while it sounds like a pretty simple solution, not every player knows how to do it. So let us show you how you can restart the Valorant client.

How to fix error code 59 in Valorant?

Restarting the game client simply means that you need to end the game and restart it again. It's likely that some players might think that the game is instructing them to perform some extra functionality to access the game client; However, it is not. So, if you ever encounter Valorant error code 59, the first thing you should do is end the game using the Alt + F4 keyboard shortcut and restart it.

In most cases, this should resolve the issue. If you are still facing the issue, you can also try reinstalling Riot Vanguard. To do this, you first need to uninstall Riot Vanguard using the tray icon. Then you just need to restart your computer and restart the Valorant client to automatically reinstall Riot Vanguard. Finally, reboot your system and launch the game.
