Fortnite Cheats: Best Custom Maps of 2023

Fortnite's creative mode isn't just a cheap Minecraft stunt. With new biomes, structures, creative tools, and creative codes released every few days, Fortnite Creative isn't just a bunch of blocks - it's a block of blocks where you can play Team Deathmatch. 

A host of talented creators have earned the blessing of Epic by letting you share and play your creations with anyone as long as you know the creative code needed to jump onto their islands. We've looked at a growing collection of cool stuff for your convenience. Stay tuned to this page, as creative mode is sure to change every time. new season of Fortnite . If you're unfamiliar with how to load an island, go into Fortnite Creative, approach the highlighted rift, and hold down the "E" key to bring up the code menu. Plug it in, let the island load, then head into the gorge to start.

A Damn Star Destroyer - 1653-9066-2637

Another creation from MakaMakes, the absolute master of Fortnite creativity. As the name suggests, this is legally a whole Star Destroyer. He has everything from a bridge to imperial shuttles, even a cafeteria, bathrooms. You really need to explore the outside of the ship to get a true sense of the scale of creation, which you can do just by jumping and flying around. Look at the image above. See that little black dot near the ship? It's me! It's also worth noting that when you jump onto the map, it will look like you're in space. The playback mode (where you can take photos) doesn't show this, so you'll definitely get the full imperial experience.

The Neighbor Remastered - 1675-1520-8935

Yes, this neighbor. For those not in the know, there was once an indie game called Hello Neighbor that became very popular with YouTube spooky gamers where you had to break into your spooky neighbor's increasingly labyrinthine house to uncover his dark secrets. Think Fortnite (with fans penchant for jumping puzzles) will mix the two together. As far as I've seen, there is no real neighbor that will chase you, but there are areas that will automatically kill you if you stay in them for too long.

Blissful Bunny Prop Hunt - 0766-9634-2298

A bright and colorful prop hunt with a surprisingly large variety of things to transform into and plenty of places to do so in a way that is convincing enough, while very, very a big hungus bunny looms over you. Props players have to hunt 20 eggs around the map while hunters try to track them down.

An Entire Dang Airport - 6037-9905-6392

MakaMakes is one of my favorite Fortnite creators. The guy clearly has a knack for laying out a believable space and filling it with enough detail so that everyone can say, "Yeah, that's how it's going to look in Fortnite." His latest creation - an entire airport with two terminals, a runway, a bunch of planes and gaudy restaurants - is nothing short of amazing. Enjoy the joy of not one, but two Durr Burger restaurants that will definitely charge you $15 for fries or the interior of an airplane, complete with a curtained off first class and economy section.

MakaMM goes into detail on how he made the airport in the video above, and it's really cool to see someone work through the process and explain how he created something with a relatively limited set of tools. Surprisingly, he made the nose of the plane out of a snowball from the snowman item gallery. He's just a genius.

10Kill Sniper - 0377-1286-7849

A smart, fun sniper map that comes with four separate modes: sniper rifles, bows, rocket launchers, and shotguns. The pleasant tropical white stone architecture is punctuated by a bunch of jump pads that can guide you vertically or horizontally across the abyss. It's not exactly Quake, but it's one of the closest approximations of Fortnite.

Downtown Dash - 4340-7454-8075

You'd be forgiven for thinking this was some sort of Sonic/Fortnite movie promotional video. In Downtown Dash, you run at super high speeds to collect a llama and avoid enemy fire. The creator of "chasejackman" did a great job placing the ramps and architecture in such a way as to provide proper speed and maneuverability.

Autumn Zone Wars - 3781-9472-2606

A beautiful, picturesque autumn landscape for a military skirmish zone. The typical autumn color palette blends very well together. The streams of water are decorative and do not force you to swim and expose yourself to enemy fire. Items are large and easy to spot, helping you focus on combat rather than searching for items.

Fortnite Outlast Recreation - 8752-7425-3922

Outlast continues to be one of the best horror games of this generation, influencing a new generation of game designers and YouTubers who love to scream. Created by IFrost Origins, this map recreates what appears to be the entire Massive Asylum mountain from the original title, and for Fortnite creation, it's a very good approximation. You'll probably find yourself remembering "oh yes, I had to get a key card to unlock this, to fix this, to enable this" like a nightmare Zelda game. Oh, and yes, there are invincible enemies that will haunt you, though thankfully the checkpoints seem to be plentiful. 

Overwatch Black Forest Map - Gun Fight - 9546-5724-7030

One of Overwatch's best Deathwatch maps is getting a Fortnite makeover. You and friends will walk in with a random load of weapons and take them on in a fairly standard duel. I really like how well this map translates from game to game. It has all the right details, like the aging tree of every building, the Omnic robot corpses lying around, and the way the sunlight just bounces off everything. Ideal for senseless killing.

Paul, It's Lava! — 1201-1101-4279

Your favorite childhood game plus weapons. All players start in a closed room, and once the timer starts, you have about five very short seconds to start climbing before the "lava" starts to rise. And it's moving fast . The whole idea is to stand last, so do you keep climbing or do you pause to shoot your opponent?

Temple Escape - 8870-7331-1222

It's the Temple Run format - run like crazy and jump around to avoid getting stuck in the spike pit - and it works great here. Fortnite has long been known for its inventive death runs, but there's something more fun about the fact that you want to cover even more distance each time than in the previous run. I had to play it for 20 minutes straight before giving up.

Mermaids FFA Zone Wars

A beautiful, scenic zone war map that forces players to traverse treacherous expanses of water and offers a couple of damn tight viewing angles so you don't get blown to pieces. The whitewashed stone buildings and the waterfront really make this an enjoyable place to play. Imagine a Disney picture, but with a weapon.

LOV3. Facility Duo Escape Map - 2136-1946-1779

Sure, you may have felt trapped in a relationship before, but I bet you've never been trapped in one with super speed or low gravity. Designed specifically for two players, this escape map gives one player extra speed and the other player reduced gravity, forcing the two of you to work together to solve puzzles and succeed. It's cheaper than couples therapy.

Counter-Strike's Dust 2 by Evolve Team

Even if you have never played Counter-Strike, you must have heard of de_dust2. The most popular CS map we know of has been recreated with amazing fidelity by the Evolve team. It's hard to scale in Fortnite since it's a third-person game and all, but Evolve really made those angles feel just as lethal as the original project. 

Miniature Paris - 7593-6430-3199

Created by a Reddit user XWARD GAMING , this miniature version of the city of love is an interesting entertainment. Climb the Eiffel Tower (through the portal, of course), stroll along the Seine River and even visit the Arc de Triomphe. The "arch" is pretty well done given the possibilities of creative mode, recreating even finer details such as carved human statues on the faces of any arch.

Rainbow Six Siege Yacht Map Bomb Hunt - 2996-9373-3174

We love Rainbow Six Siege. This creative map recreates the picturesque Yacht map straight from the game, and even better, you're tasked with disarming or protecting a randomly placed bomb, and you'll be able to buy weapons from vending machines with limited supplies.

The 75th Hunger Games Zone Wars - 5880-5365-5857

A really nice map of zone wars with random events (just like the actual books/movies), and an insane dash for a cornucopia full of weapons, this homage to the Hunger Games. I think it only makes sense that the Battle Royale phenomenon was reflected in another admittedly popular Battle Royale game.

Epidemic Deathmatch-1866-9576-6645

Great deathmatch map with top and bottom levels. To be honest, it feels like you're walking down one of the snowy New York streets from The Ubisoft's Division.

Minas Tirith From The Lord of the Rings - 1048-3487-4391

 Did you ever see that scene when Denethor, the father of Boromir and Faramir, threw himself from the top of the mountain while he was on fire and thought, "I could do it?" Now this is your chance.

This recreation of the capital of Gondor, Minas Tirith, is amazing, especially when you appear in the fields where hordes of orcs have been preparing a siege. It even has a throne room. The only downside is that you can't lay siege to a city with a BRUTE because the wooden tower it spawns in is indestructible.
