Mass Effect Legendary Edition Character Creation Cheats - How To Import Face Codes

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now live, which means it's time to go back, save the galaxy, and once again claim every store on the Citadel as your favorite. Many players have remained attached to what their original Commander Shepard looked like and are likely wondering if the face code import during character creation .

Luckily, Mass Effect Legendary Edition lets you import face codes from older games during character creation, which is great news if you want to relive your old adventures without spending a lot of time rebuilding Commander Shepard from scratch. However, obtaining them will require additional efforts.

            

 

In the case of Mass Effect 2 and 3, all you have to do is install the original versions and check if your save is corrupted. If you saved it on a separate drive or in a special folder, safe from prying eyes, just add it to the game's save folder. If it's stored in the cloud, you don't have to worry about any extra steps.

You can then get your character's Face Code on the Squad screen. Look for a long string of letters and numbers separated by dots.

If you want to import the Face Code from the original Mass Effect into the Legendary Edition, you can't do it directly, unfortunately. Instead, you need to first import it into Mass Effect 2 and get it in the sequel's Squad screen.

After receiving the Face Code, launch Mass Effect Legendary Edition and go to the character creation screen. You will notice a code section at the bottom of the face customization menu where you need to enter a long string of numbers and letters.

Unfortunately, if your old saves are corrupted or can't be found anywhere, you'll have to either rely on searching for Face Codes on the internet and hope you find something similar to your old character, or go through the character creation process all over again.
