When Cars Appear in Fortnite, Why the Delay?
Despite appearing in the Season 3 trailer, a number of new vehicles are still due in the game, and a new delay has now pushed them back even further.
Leaks in the beginning of the season was assured that the range of new cars would arrive on July 21st. Patch Fortnite v13.30 already on the servers, and despite leaking a lot of information, new cars will not appear on the map yet.
We know that there will be at least six new vehicles, ranging from small cars to trucks. They even boast brand new fuel mechanics to keep things in balance. In the last update also slipped new statistics , emphasizing how powerful these cars will be.
According to Epic, all of this information seems to point to an imminent release, but the machines won't make it to the battle royale just yet.
“Our lawyers are currently sweating the details of the policy and correcting typos such as 'lighting' instead of automatic lighting. Because of this, many cars were taken for inspection, ”- shared by Epic Games via the official Fortnite Twitter account on July 23. For a few weeks, the cars won't be ready for the road."

Run out of gas? That's not covered.
Our lawyers are currently sweating the policy details and fixing typos like 'otter coverage' instead of auto coverage. Due to this, many vehicles got taken for inspection.

Fortnite Season 3 showcases a wide range of these vehicles in action. Considering that everything is in order with the current season, it was expected that these cars would appear soon. The tweet showed that we would have to hold our breath for a while.
While it is not possible to say how far these functions are pushed back, this wording implies that they are not ready enough. The devs at Epic need a little more time to sort out the issues, but can these new cars arrive before Season 4?
current season as expected, ends August 27th. This also means that the Summer Splash event is coming to an end as well. It took a few extra weeks to make sure the vehicles are working properly, so there's little room left to fit them in for Season 3.
A potential solution could be to extend the current season. Due to the ongoing global crisis, Epic has made the difficult decision to postpone its final gaming event Aggregate last season. As such, Season 4 plans could also be delayed, leaving the vehicles to run in the final part of Season 3.
It is not known exactly when you will be able to drive a sports car in Fortnite. However, a few weeks means mid-August, so stay tuned for future announcements.
