When Warzone 3 Season 2.0 starts: Season 2 end date, expected content, new weapons, and more.
A new season of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is expected to release every two months. Season 2 was released on February 15th after a two-week delay from the original launch date, and if there are no more setbacks, the next season will likely release on April 15th. However, based on the number of days left in the current Battle Pass, there is a possibility that Season 3 could go live on Wednesday, April 12th.
At the moment, these are the two most likely launch dates for the next season. It is worth noting that none of the dates have been confirmed by the developers. Fortunately, however, there have been leaks related to content coming out next season, some of which have been confirmed.
Warzone 2 Season 3 is expected to release the long-awaited ranked mode
The patch notes for Warzone 2 Season 2 state that Warzone 1 Plunder, along with a brand new ranked mode, will be available in "Season 3 and beyond." While this doesn't confirm that the two modes will be released next month, it does increase the chances that it will.
As with every new season, a new Battle Pass is guaranteed to be included in the next one. BP is expected to offer COD points, various new operator skins, weapon blueprints, emblems, business cards, car cosmetics, comrades in arms, and more. Some of these items will be free, such as Call of Duty Points, but most of them will only be available to those who have purchased the pass.
According to the leaks, the FR 5.56 Famas will be a new weapon introduced in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 in Season 3. In addition, a total of 13 unreleased weapons were found by dataminers in the latest game files. They may be released in Season 3 or in future major updates.
One of the firearms included in the current game files is CheyTac Intervention of Modern Warfare 2 (2009), which may also be added next season. This information comes from a reliable source, Task Force Leakers 141, who have been correct in the past.
Some other leaks suggest that Alejandro Vargas, Valeria Garza, and Alex Keller will be added as playable operators, as voice lines and loading screen illustrations have been found in the game files for all three operators.
