100 Primogem compensation for Yae Miko in Genshin Impact

"Correction" Yae Miko, which was put forward as part of Genshin Impact version 2.6, was canceled just a few days after launch, switching back to random targeting instead of the closest target when an elemental blast was activated. However, players still want more buffs for Mischievous Cunning.

Yae Miko has been one of the most anticipated characters in Genshin Impact history. At the High Priestess of the Great Shrine, Narukami, whales emerged from the shadows, ready to turn around for a chance to play with kitsune.

However, the players were very disappointed after her release into the expanses of Teyvat. Her kit was riddled with bugs and lost interest for many, as she was hardly an upgrade for any team in the Twisted Abyss with her high energy cost and low defense.

HoYoverse did try to fix Yae Miko in Genshin Impact in the current version 2.6 by making a change where the character will now prioritize attacks from nearby enemies within range" rather than random enemies.

However, things went wrong: HoYoverse quickly rolled back the changes just a week after launching on March 30th.

"We've rolled back to Yae Miko's character change, whereby her Sesshou Sakura ability prioritizes attacks from the closest enemy within range," reads the in-game post.

"After Sesshou's cooldown, Sakura will randomly attack an enemy within range."

HoYoverse compensated Genshin Impact 100 Primogems players for the inconvenience, but the return was well received by players. However, they are now calling on HoYoverse to send Yae Miko some meaningful buffs that don't just "spend money on constellations".

“Her damage is not a problem at all, it’s her softness. Her damage is ok. We just need her to be interrupt [resistant] when she puts her turrets or puts them quickly instead of a little pause between them," said one of the players.

While some feel that this change has made her viable again in team builds, players want her to take less time on the field for what is essentially a customization character and may have considered lowering her energy cost. .
