The Mondstadt Culinary Tour is a series of legend quests related to Xiang Ling in Genshin Impact.
Your task is to help Xiang Ling win the culinary competition against Cook Brooke from Springvale.

The first sub-quest is Cook on the hunt, and we start with it!
Cook on the hunt
While exploring the forests of Springvale, Traveler and Paimon meet a young girl who is hunting wild boars. She introduces herself as Xiang Ling and asks them to catch boars for her since she can't. You must hunt boars and deliver 3 pieces of meat to Xiang Ling, who promised to thank you for your efforts. If difficulties arise, our boar hunting guide will help you.
Having come up with a recipe on the spot, she is about to set up a field kitchen on the spot, during which Allan arrives to scold the company for hunting right in the wild boar's habitat, as it will scare them away. Xiang Ling realizes her mistake and apologizes, but Allan recommends that she apologize to their superior, Draff, instead. The team heads to Springvale to do so.

Contrary to expectations, Druff meets Xiang Ling in a good mood due to her excellent reputation as a talented chef in both the cities of Teyvat Mondstadt and Li Yue. He expresses hope that Xiang Ling can use her dishes to promote Springvale's meat products, but she hesitates as she refuses to limit herself to certain ingredients. When Druff reacts negatively to her unconventional suggestion to use Slime Jelly in food, she becomes angry and walks away.
As Xiang Ling leaves, the smell of Brook's cooking catches her attention. After a short discussion, Brook realizes Xiang Ling's personality and asks her how she would cook a great piece of meat. When Xiang Ling mentions adding a Qingxin Flower with Cloud Pepper to the dish, Brook states that it would be "overkill", causing Xiang Ling to decide to cook the dish herself, to settle the dispute. She tells Brooke she will cook her meals from their meat. Brook also agrees that if it wins, Xiang Ling has to present her dish at the Wan Ming Restaurant. Xiang Ling then goes to Li Yue to retrieve his ingredients.
Missing ingredient
Paimon and Traveler again catch up with Xiang Ling at Li Yue. Its location is indicated on the map. It's not far from the Dawn Distillery.
You need to help her collect three Lotus Flowers and Jiu Yun Pepper. While searching for ingredients, stick to the highlighted circle on your radar, located in the upper left corner.
However, Xiang Ling still feels like something is missing before suddenly remembering a place she hasn't visited, where she intuitively believes she can find the last vital ingredient.
A pleasant surprise
At the entrance to the cave, the trio discover a man trembling outside, this is the hunter Olaf. Paimon offers to build a fire, but Xiang Ling insists that hot soup will work better and asks the traveler to prepare the perfect meal, a delicious vegetable soup.
If you already have soup in your inventory, just give it to him. Otherwise, you need to find a nearby cooking station, which is located next to the Hilichurl camp. Beating hilichurls is not too difficult and it will not be possible to avoid a fight, because they are standing right next to the cauldron. Having won and prepared the soup, give it to the hunter.

Warmed by the soup, the man tells them that he was stalking a boar in the ruins when Cryo Fern attacked and froze him. He was able to escape when he came to, but he barely made it to the exit before his strength began to wane. Xiang Ling is taken aback by the Cryo Fern, but realizes that it is what she needs for cooking and breaks into the cave. The man tells the Traveler to save Xiang Ling as he believes she is putting herself in grave danger.
Enter the ruins and you will be able to play as Xiang Ling. It is based on pyrotechnics. You can also use Ember for this card.
Deal with the Hilichurls first. Then use the Pyro Attack on the Pyro Monument to open the gate.
The gate will close quickly. Stand near the gate and use the pyrotechnics on the monument, then slide inside. New enemies await in the next area. Clear them. Basically it is cryoslimes. After killing them, climb the wall:
In the next area, you need to use pyro attacks on a pyro monument surrounded by spikes to open a gate. Head inside and deal with more cryoslimes.
After dealing with the slimes, you will find yourself in another room where icicles are falling from the sky.
In this area, you can simply run past the slimes and avoid the icicles.
Near the end of the area, you need to kill the slimes magically blocking the gate. You do not need to kill everyone, it is enough to eliminate only those at the gate.
In the next part there will be four monuments.
You can use Xiang Ling's pyro skills to ignite all four. Ember's fire attack might be too slow for that.
Xiang Ling has an ultimate attack that spins her ignited weapon.
Finally, you will reach the giant Cryo Fern.
To defeat the boss, aim at the core located below. Destroy the core and the shield will disappear.
Now you can get rid of his HP.
Killing Cryo Fern will reveal a boar that has been frozen for 300 years.
Xiang Ling will use it for a culinary duel.
Culinary fight
Brook invited Sigfriya to be her cooking assistant, so Xiang Ling assigns Traveler and Paimon to help her with the dishes. They are sent to get wild radishes and wash them in the lake, as well as get rid of nearby slimes that risk spoiling the duel.
The traveler additionally cooks chicken skewers with mushrooms, which serve as a side dish for the cooked steak.
After eating both dishes, Druff declares Xiang Ling the winner (of course). Brook muses that the winning edge was the frozen boar, which impresses Druff with the sheer value of its meat. Xiang Ling objects and says that Mora is not interested in her, and the main thing is making her customers happy - this is what she lives for. While everyone goes to eat, Olaf regrets that he will not be able to taste such rare meat. Xiang Ling assures him that she can replicate the scent with modern ingredients.
After the meal, Paimon and Traveler meet up with Xiang Ling, who thanks them for their help in preparing the meal. She declares her intention to return to Li Yue, even if there are many distractions along the way. However, she acknowledges their culinary skills, promising them food and lessons on some of her unusual recipes when they have time to visit Wan Ming.
