League of Legends: Wild Rift - Upcoming Mobile Game Details

LOL

Riot Games has revealed that their long-awaited mobile game, League of Legends: Wild Rift, will soon be in alpha, starting in Brazil and the Philippines.

The League10 Anniversary Stream revealed many of the secret projects that Riot had in works such as Legends of Runeterra, Valorant and many more.

However, they also caught the attention of many mobile gamers after announcing that they would soon be releasing the iconic MOBA for Android, iOS, and consoles along with League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Although Wild Rift will have some differences from the original game in order to better adapt to mobile and console players, it still delights many fans with its upcoming release.

After a glitch was discovered in the Google Play Store that randomly rendered Wild Rift for a short time, many speculated that it would take too long until players got their hands on it.

So far, little has been revealed about when players can expect Wild Rift to be available, however, on May 15, Riot announced that it will be moving to the Alpha stage soon ahead of a worldwide launch expected this year.

Riot has announced that they will initially begin a limited alpha test starting in Brazil and the Philippines in June before it becomes available elsewhere.

Since many players were concerned about the specifications required to play the game on mobile devices, it has been clarified that at launch, the minimum specifications that players must have on their device include the following specifications or higher: "1,5 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410" processor and Adreno 306 GPU. "

For ioS players, the equivalent would be an iPhone 6 and above, and LoL Wild Rift developers explain that they are trying to make the game as accessible as possible: “We are committed to making the game accessible to as many devices as possible. without compromising the core gameplay of Wild Rift."

While it's still unclear when Wild Rift will be available for testing to fans worldwide, Riot has made it clear that more information will be released by the end of May.
