Dragons are mobs that are both hostile and tameable. They are the focus of the Ice and Fire mod. Dragons are massive bipedal reptiles with massive leathery wings and the ability to breathe a special element.
There are currently three types of dragons: Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, and Lightning Dragon. Fire dragons breathe fire and can be found in any biome that ranges from warm to cold climates, Ice dragons breathe ice and can only be found in snowy biomes, while a lightning dragon will hunt during lightning storms.
A dragon goes through five stages of maturation, with stage one dragons being the weakest and most vulnerable, and stage five dragons being the largest and most powerful. The higher the level of the dragon, the more prey he will receive after the defeat. Killing a stage 4+ female dragon and looting it with a right click is also the only way to get a dragon egg that can be hatched into a tamed dragon. Keep in mind that if you collect too much blood from a stage 4+ female dragon, the egg won't drop.
