Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Coming Spring 2022
We have a good feeling about the release of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
After being delayed indefinitely earlier in the year, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has received a Spring 2022 release window along with a brand new trailer.
Geoff Keighley debuted the new trailer and release window for The Skywalker Saga during the Live Gamescom Opening Ceremony. The trailer showed off some new footage from the game, and also revealed that it's coming early next year.
In addition to opening a new release window for the game, we've also taken a fresh look at gameplay. The trailer showcased several third-person lightsaber and blaster duels, as well as a large map of the Galaxy and open world areas to explore. Fans will also note that this confirms that the game will feature voiced characters and not Lego grunts.
While you might think that Skywalker Saga is a repackaging of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens with some new content based on later films, it's actually a brand new game with completely different levels, cat -scenes. and features from other games.
As you can guess from the title, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga covers every Star Wars episode from the prequel trilogy to the sequel trilogy. It also contains levels based on The Mandalorian, although it was previously confirmed that it would not feature content from Star Wars: Rogue One or Solo: A Star Wars Story.
