We bring to your attention 8 minutes of starting gameplay of Lineage 2M, a cross-platform MMORPG from NCSoft.

Back on October 8, in the morning, Korean developers decided to show the process of character development from initial weapons to more advanced options through a small picture.
First, let's look at the available races and weapons. Lineage 2M, please note that not all races can use the available weapons, that is, some, for example, will not be able to use orbs or staves (you will understand this later in the text).

Weapon

한손검 \ One-Handed Sword + Shield (One-Handed Sword) is a class with high defense and a huge amount of survival skills.
이도류 \ Dual swords (duals) - a melee class with high armor and HP.
단검 \ Dagger (dager) is a class with high attack and movement speed, able to effectively dodge enemy attacks.
활 \ Bow - deals damage at a distance from the target (a bow and a bow in Africa).
지팡이 \ Staff (mage) - a mage that can deal damage from afar and weaken opponents with debuffs.
오브 \ Sphere (heal) is the only class that can heal allies, and in addition to this, it can impose various buffs that increase the attack and defense of allies.

Further in the original there is a large table in which it is written what class a character can become depending on the chosen race and weapon, I decided to bring it in the form of a regular list.
Please note that the developers decided not to disclose the details of grades 4 and 5, talking only about the first three. However, in four races you will find classes that you may be familiar with from Lineage 2, and something completely new has been invented for orcs and dwarves.

Character pre-registration

Just a few hours ago, character pre-registration became available, including server selection, but Korean developers decided to approach this issue in an original / unusual way by launching it on the site.
That is, you will not be able to download the mobile client of the game itself or the Purple PC emulator, but you can install Purple on mobile devices by going to one of the links on the official website (you may need a VPN on your phone), as this is also a kind of chat / social place for players

Character registration takes place in three small steps, you will need to select a server (dark squares mean that it is already full of players), race and weapon (class) and finally, write your nickname. I’ll write again, be careful, because some races have restrictions, for example, orcs at first can only use a sword + shield, bow or staff (I personally created the TX rat).
There is only a small problem here, as soon as you follow this link https://lineage2m.plaync.com/preorde…r/191015/index, there will be only one large orange login button on the right, that is, you will need a Korean NCSoft account to register and then play.

To get it, follow the link https://id.plaync.com/member/agreement, which should throw on two license agreements, check the boxes and then fill out a simple form (soap, nickname and password twice).
Next, you need to confirm the mail by clicking on the link in the letter (if you cannot find it, check your spam folder), and then complete the registration process by clicking on the dark blue button in the window that opens.
In theory, this should be enough to pre-register a character, although it is not a fact that you will not be asked to pass verification through a Korean mobile phone.

After you complete character creation, the system will show the selected server / class and a small portrait with the race, all this will also be duplicated throughout the site in the upper right corner where the login button should be.
Now an unusual mini-game will become available (more on that below) and the ability to create your own guild or join an existing one to make it a little easier to find the right button, below I will leave two links if for some reason you want to use the first option (I just joined the guild with the name you like).

The process of creating a guild is insanely simple and most likely this is the final version, so far, users can only communicate on the site through a special mini-forum and, as it is written, in the Purple emulator chat (that's just not there).
The system will ask the user to come up with a clan name (there is an availability check button), a short description, a small optional tag, and finally, choose a method for new players to join (free or by request).
Judging by the list of guilds, so far the maximum number is 30 players.

Mini game

In addition to the usual event associated with a phone number, Korean developers decided to launch an unusual mini-game, which is related to the key feature of the game - sharpening.
Follow the link https://minigame.plaync.com/lineage2m/#/ or in the Purple app (click on the picture with the dwarf in the personal tab), after a few seconds, a vertical interface will appear, divided into two halves.

In the upper half there are six round buttons (slots) - these are cells for the main types of Lineage 2M weapons, in fact, in this event, in order to succeed, players must equip and sharpen all types of weapons at once.
Also, switching between slots allows you to look at the available playable races, and it is possible that such character models in better quality await users in the game.
Below is the character's inventory and three tabs of the event, the last two we do not take into account, since this is a reference and a return to the main page of the site, at the moment we are only interested in the first two.

As I wrote above, the essence of the event is to sharpen equipment to increase a special rating in the upper right corner of the screen (where Score is written), but first this very equipment will have to be created through a primitive crafting system.
To do this, there is a golden chest with resources in the inventory, the system is guaranteed to give out 10 pieces for the first login and X additional pieces for various actions, such as Google pre-registration or joining a clan.
After that, they will be credited once a day and for reposts in Korean social networks.

After you have received the resources, open the second tab from the bottom and see that there are six options available for each weapon, ranging from white grade to purple, the weapon grade determines how many points you get, and, for example, the top one immediately adds 1000 points ( at maximum sharpening 2500).
Also, the higher the equipment grade, the more resources will be needed to create one weapon, although the word “more” is not entirely appropriate here, because purple grade requires only 5 units of each resource.

Based on the description above, it may seem that the event is very simple and you just need to craft a purple weapon, but this is not entirely true, because the developers decided to add a random chance to fail the crafting process.
In this case, you will spend resources and instead of weapons, you will receive a certain number of sharpening scrolls, their number depends on the grade, since I have already verified this from personal experience when I tried to create three purple-grade weapons.

Sooner or later, you will be able to create a weapon and now all that remains is to sharpen it to the maximum tenth level (+10), this is perhaps the most difficult stage, since you can easily fail the sharpening and thereby destroy the weapon obtained by “overwork”.
If I understood the text correctly, the chance of enchanting failure depends on the grade of the weapon and the stage you are currently at, that is, enchanting a purple +9 weapon will be a headache.

In this way, you will gradually accumulate points, which will automatically turn into event store points every Wednesday at a very good rate:

from 1 to 5000 points - 50000 points.
from 5001 to 10000 points - 100000 points.
from 10001 to 11000 points - 200000 points.
from 11001 to 12000 points - 300000 points.
12001 and above - 500000 points.

So if the user is somehow able to sharpen six purple guns to +10, every week he will receive 500000 thousand points.
For points, items are already sold directly for Lineage 2M itself, but most of them can only be bought once, below is a list of goods:
