The nilotpala lotus is one of the local curiosities of Sumeru, the newest playable region added with Genshin Impact version 3.0. Currently, the only character that uses Nilotpal Lotus as an Exalted material is the 5-star Tignari.
After viewing the official interactive map, it has been confirmed that players can obtain a total of 78 Nilotpal Lotus in Sumeru in a single run. In other words, they will only need to farm this material three times to fully upgrade Tignari to level 90, as it requires a total of 168 Lotus Nilothpal in Genshin Impact.

Item Source (Ingame) | Reservoirs of Sumeru |
Description | It grows in swampy forests, its flowers glow like the moon, and bloom only late at night. |
We add that these flowers are also needed to create (using Alchemy) an extremely useful item:
- Dendroculus Echo Stone = Nilotpal Lotus x5 + Rukkhashava Mushrooms x5 + Crystal Fragment x1 + 500 mora
With this tool, you can greatly simplify your search for dendrocules in Sumeru, as it will mark the location of the nearest particles.
Where to Find Nilotpala Lotus in Sumeru Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact players can refer to the map above to check the location of each nilotpal lotus in Sumeru.
The greatest concentration of this local curiosity is north of Sumeru, where it grows in groups. Luckily, this will make it easier for players to collect them as they spawn close together.
Fama Lotus nilotpal route in Sumeru Genshin Impact
City of Sumeru
A total of 34 lotuses can be found near the city of Sumeru, as well as in the surrounding area. Players must take advantage of various waypoints to teleport near these plants and farm them efficiently. If travelers want the fastest route, they can follow the route shown above to collect valuable material.
None of the Nilotpal Lotus flowers in the image above are inside the locked area, so this should be the first route players should take if they want to level Tignari.
Varanara
The next place players should head to is Wanaran and its surroundings. Keep in mind that the nilotpala lotus in this area will only appear in the real Vanaran, not in dreams. Players can tell the difference just by looking at the sky.
The dream Vanarana has a purple sky, while the real Vanarana has the same blue sky as every other area in Genshin Impact. Also, players will not be able to spot Aranara in the area if they are in the real Wanaran. Following the route above, they should receive 13 lotuses.
Vimara village
Like the city of Sumeru, the village of Vimara and Mount Devantaki have an abundance of Nilotpala lotus. Hikers can start from the waypoint at Pardis Dhyay and follow this route until they reach the last one at Mount Devantaki. Players will find around 27 Nilotpal lotuses if they follow this route.
Thicket Apam
Apam Thicket is the last place where players can get the Nilotpala Lotus. However, they will only find 4 flowers here, hidden in an underground cave. Players who didn't start Aranyac quests, may not be able to access that particular location.
Once Genshin Impact gamers have collected every nilotpal lotus in their world, they can wait a few days before the local curiosities reappear, or visit their friends' world to follow the same route.
Where to buy Nilotpala lotus
Unfortunately, at this point in time, it is impossible to purchase this local curiosity from anyone. However, you can get some during test runs and hero birthdays. Plus, several lotuses are given out for some tasks in the world of Sumeru. Of course, these methods cannot be compared in efficiency with the farm, so there is no getting away from it.
